Keeps all bad smells 100% contained in diaper pail! Fabulous!
So happy that I bought this diaper pail! I have a breastfed son who is cloth diapered, and before we had this diaper pail we would just put his soiled diapers in a decorative bucket without a lid. At first the decorative bucket worked well but our baby was just a month old and he wasn't putting out much. As the months went by baby started having larger bowel movements and the decorative bucket turned into a very stinky bucket. So I decided to give this diaper pail a go, I am so happy that I did! I truly wish that I would have bought it sooner. It keeps the all do the nasty smells contained! Another reviewer complained about how the diaper pail smelled when opened but that is what happens when a scent in contained. Scents just don't disappear they; spread out in the room, are contained in a container, or are over powered by heavy perfume. This diaper pail contains the scents. I am so happy that the room it's in doesn't smell any longer this diaper pail was a life saver! It fits about 2 days of diapers just as advertised. You could probably squeeze in a few more cloth diapers. The pail comes with a carbon filter to insert into the lid. I have seen replacement carbon filters on amazon for this diaper pail. I have had my pail for over 3 months now and do not need a replacement at this time. I do not notice any stinky orders coming out of the carbon filter. I use Planet Wise Reusable Diaper Pail Liners (also available on amazon). You will need to buy TWO liners for the diaper pail. I tried to do it with one liner and it just doesn't work out. Save yourself the trouble and just buy two! I am very happy with this diaper pail! I almost bought a stainless steal round trashcan to use instead of this diaper pail but I am very happy that I decided against the trashcan and bought the Odorless Cloth Diaper Pail. I highly recommend this pail to ALL cloth diapering parents.

Best Diaper Pail
I did a ton of research on diaper pails before I bought this pail. I considered what would work best for my needs. I was a bit worried about smell leakage since diapers smell and I didn't want my house to smell when the pail was closed. It has met my every expectation. I have been using it in my daughters room and in my living room with no problems. I got this one because it has a locking lid and I needed something my very smart Husky couldn't figure out how to get into. So far it has worked wonderfully. I have used it for wet and dry pailing. It works well for either. I wash my diapers every day so the size works well for me. I think if someone wanted to have one and wasn't washing atleast every other day it wouldn't be big enough. I recommend this to anyone who wants a cloth diaper pail that does what it claims and more. I have heard many say that they wouldn't use it because the lid locks and doesn't flip up. and that they were afraid of or had trouble with putting diapers in the bin one handed. I haven't had an issue with this myself. and my baby is extremely wiggly so one hand is constantly needed to keep her in place on the table. It is well worth the money!

VERY Small!
I was so excited to find a pail specifically for cloth diapers that I eagerly awaited it's arrival and as soon as I opened the box my heart sunk I was so disappointed and wanted to return it. The bin is so small and I felt not at all worth the price. However, after realizing the $12 shipping cost to me would come out of my pocket, as well as the cost to send it back, it felt like I was stuck between a rock and a hard place-either pay $25 to return a $38 bucket or just keep it, so it's now sitting in it's box in a corner of the nursery.I looked for cloth diaper pails everythwere (online, that is) and couldn't find another that was larger and sepcifically for cloth diapers. I would recommend someone get a simple plastic bin and stick the air fresheners/filters onto the inside of the lid, it would save significant $$ and I wish I had thought to do that instead.Currently, I have a nice big one from the gal who owns the diaper service we use (I didn't realize she was providing a pail when we ordered this one) I asked where she got it and how much it costs. Found out it comes from Canada and she can get one for about $40. I'm not sure of the brand or how she orders them but if I find out I'll add it to this review

Does the job...
Okay, let me just say that this pail does the job. I have a two month old in cloth diapers that goes through about 10 diapers a day, and this pail holds them with no leaking smells. That's why I bought the pail, and for that it is successful. Now to the negatives. This pail is smaller than I expected, although I should have thought about that when I read 7 gallon. I'm not sure how full it will be for people with more than one child in diapers... you may want to consider a larger pail. The metal closures are great - they're strong and will last forever, however, they are a pain in the butt to open and close all the time so I generally just put the top back on the pail and call it good since I'll be opening it again in a couple hours. My husband is a little bit better about closing the metal thingies than I am, but baby poop bothers him a little more than it does me anyways. And if you want to transport this little pail from room to room (we use it downstairs during the day and upstairs at night), there's really no easy way to carry it.Overall, I like it enough that it will get 4 stars, and we will continue to use it without looking for a replacement, at least until we decide to have baby #2.
