SwadMadras Curry Powder, 7 OZ

Love this one, has lots of flavor and heat; but is not super hot, great blend.

I bought this once in an Indian grocery store and went back and they no longer had it, but Amazon to the rescue! I bought a ton. It makes the best Curry Chicken ever! Take boneless Chicken thighs, 1 onion, 2 carrots, 2 celery, 3 Tbsp curry, 1/2 c. chicken broth and a can of coconut milk in the crock pot low 6-8 hrs and you are set! So glad I can get it on Amazon!

Genuine product, looks fresh, there was some confusion on quantity but the seller resolved the issue immediately. Great customer service from this seller, I don't believe the issue was their fault.

Though the seller had to contact me and confirm that a 5 pack of 14oz packets (equivalent to ordered amount) would be okay by me, they were fast and courteous.I love this blend on just about everything. It has a nice complexity, with a good warm heat. I can kick it up with some chili peppers if I need to breath flames. Delicious!!

I love this product. The only thing I would wish for is to be able to bu it in half of this quantity.

A friend brought me a bag of this curry from South Africa probably 10 years ago, and I am still using it to make our family's traditional Broccoli casserole at Thanksgiving--but, as you can imagine, am running low. I found some at a supermarket in Cincinnati--but it contained sulfites. I bought a bag on eBay. Sulfites. The only other place I could find it was here on Amazon, and had to buy TEN packages, but the photo did NOT show sulfites (which keep me awake all night) AND I asked a question of other purchasers who said it was as pictured. It wasn't. And, it's not returnable. So, now I am stuck with 10 bags of delicious smelling curry powder that I can't use. NOT HAPPY. :-(

i specifically looked for this brand because i've had it before and knew we liked it! now i'm stocked with it : )
