Great tool
I bought this to use with my Sony rx100 for a 2 week trip to Europe. At first I couldn’t get it to connect to my camera until I realized after days of trying that you need to select “Rmt Control” in addition to just the Bluetooth connection. Once I did that it worked perfectly with zero connection issues from then forward. It is very comfortable and fit my hand well. Controls were all easy to use. For a smaller camera it was so much easier to hold onto with the grip than holding the camera itself. The grip made it much more secure of a grip so I was able to take different angles, hold it out windows, and other positions I couldn’t do with just the camera. Also the grip made holding the camera while carrying it more secure and less likely to drop it.The tripod was great for pictures, especially low ones where I just set it on the ground. Also good for just setting the camera on a table or wherever without laying the camera down. My only wish is that there was a tether point for a strap or something to secure it to my hand. I generally had a strap around my neck for security but some shots required me to take it off. I could use a tether point on the camera but the it conflicts with the jacket.I am addicted and almost hate to shoot without it. Highly recommend it, particularly for smaller or medium cameras.

Handy, small tripod
Well, it may be a bit pricey it is a very good product as the feel in the hand is very good. I bought a remote control separate so I could have that option. This product does not have a releasable remote. The remote is on the unit itself. There are some advantages to that as I tend to lose things.

Defective Tripod .
I received a defective tripod. I believe its defectiveness was known prior to sending it out. Due to a previous 1 star review left by another buyer. I have returned the item at this time. Be mindful when ordering from this vendor. My tripod did not come in a box, just bubble wrapped. No battery came with it. Brand new round lithium batteries were purchased separately for this tripod . Unfortunately tripod did not work despite my efforts.

Great accessory
I bought this for my Sony ZV-1. To be honest, I like this grip better than the camera. Very easy to set up and very handy to use

I think it's a pretty handy accessory for your Sony vlogging camera
Works exactly as it should with your blogging camera so it's pretty cool and opens up and makes a tripod too it's a must have accessory

Great addition to any Sony camera!
I like filming my vacations, and occasionally even doing a selfie. The Sony grip makes holding the camera a breeze and it's much easier to keep the camera steady while walking and filming at the same time. The grip is slightly bulky, but not too bad. It's well built, sturdy, and feels very secure when you're holding it. It also doubles as a mini tripod. Three things would improve the design: First, a ball joint would be better than the Sony's swivel (so you can adjust for uneven surfaces while using as a tripod); Second, I would love if it could be extended outward by about 12" (this would improve the shooting angle for selfies and blogging, and would also make it easy to shoot over crowds (like at a concert); Third, a detachable remote would be a big plus. There is strong competition on Amazon for similar products, so look around to make sure you find something that best fits your needs. Overall though, the Sony Wireless Bluetooth Shooting Grip is a very good product.
