Needed a replacement head for our V9 Dyson animal vacuum. This is the perfect replacement and fit, works great!

Is a Dyson product and works like a new vacuum. Bought a cheaper brand cordless vac and it would not suction as well. Buying the sweeper head restored my Dyson to like new!!

I ordered this new motorhead for my Dyson V6 Animal. The description of the item made it easy to be sure I was getting the correct part. It arrived quickly and made my Dyson work like new again.

I didn't know how worn out the original head was until I received this one. Perfect replacement and worth the money. We have had this Dyson for at least 12 years and use it to sweep the house 3 to 4 times a week. It was a great investment. Only the battery and now the motor head has been replaced. Although, to be honest..I always clean it out with the shop vac and a couple times a year use compressed air for a super clean.

I bought and returned Dyson heads 3 times until we went with this one. The correct one I needed. It’s a perfect replacement for my v6. Ours is so old but we didn’t want to buy a new vacuum bec it would be another 5-600$. The search took a while bec the vacuum is so old, I don’t even know the model number. It’s been a guessing game with pictures and reviews. But this is perfect now and picking up dog hair quicker than ever. Love it

The brush head works as it should and it does very well at sucking stuff up. But I must say that dyson needs to step up their game when it comes to the quality of their products. Like other people I've seen review this, their original broke in a way that the wires that go to the motor (of the brush head) break do to a inadequate design of the attachment. The first time this happened on my OG one, I was able to disassemble it and solder the wires together so that it worked again. I used this for a few months until it broke again, and I knew it was time for a new one. One of the other factors that I believe contribute to the brush head wires breaking are the parts that allow the head to pivot break and allow for the wires to stretch and break. My suggestion is to be extra gental with this attachment and you will maybe be ok. Also, $80 is way too high for a fundamentaly flawed product that will break under what I see as normal use. In the pictures I added the attachment is dirty, it did not arrive this way and it was a brand new product when it arrived.Edit multiple years later (2/24/2024):This attachment that I ordered gave out just now. Unfortunately the high price of $80 is now at almost $120, which makes it a little harder to consider buying the replacement or a whole new vacuum. I did say in the original review that it's a flawed design, but it might just be how they had to design it to swivel. Still, remember that you need to be gentle with this, the wires are very thin and get moved around a lot in VERY tight spaces inside the attachment. If you use this as your main vacuum while using this attachment, it almost seems inevitable that it will break on you.

I’ve had my Dyson V6 Motorhead since it came out. I just bought this replacement head because the original that came with my vacuum finally broke. A wire was severed somehow in the part where the bend is, so the beater bar no longer worked.I’m not ready for a new vacuum, so I decided to just buy the part I needed, since the rest still works just fine.It’s so nice having a new motor head. The row of black bristles on my old one were almost completely gone.I can tell a difference when I vacuum with the new head - it feels like the vacuum almost pulls itself forward. So much easier to vacuum.With this new motor head, some new filters, and an aftermarket battery replacement (highly recommended), my vacuum feels new again.
