Bought this as my old faithful multi-meter doesn't do capacitance.Bought this so I could test in circuit with the tweezers.It works great... and then you attach the included probe lines and .... WOW...Old faithful has been retired.Has a decent diode mode.... auto range works... simple and effective for everything I need it for.If you want science lab accuracy or you use voltages that could burn you to a crisp, then you are probably not in the market for a £25 meter.If you just want something to troubleshoot laptop boards... this just works... Recommended!

This is and easy to use metre, it has a clear readout good functions and is accurate.

Brought the Dwell meter for a specific job only to find it the manual says it needs an inductive pick-up , that’s not included, or for sale any where , to be a dwell meter or Rev counter. Extremely disappointed. I wonder if the manual is entirely correct as you can’t measure the dwell from the ht lead. I expect to measure the dwell you connect the prob to the points connection on the coil. But not being able to measure the rpm reduces the usefulness of the tool.You might find the screen back light only coming on in low light annoying as the screen is not easy to see with out it. The other reason was that it’s quoted as a 20A DC meter . This is only for a short time but more important the crocodile clip probe ends are only rated at 10A. Their connection too is tricky . You have to locate and jam into a slot deep in crock clip cover, not screwed. The low resistance range is only to 0.1 of an ohm. Am returning without trying. Great pity as with the un-supplied, unavailable or even mentioned inductive probe accessory, BT-705A ,it would be a useful device for old petrol engine tuning.

Easy to use, balances well in my large hands. Accurate enough when compared to fluke multimeter. Has a zener diode test.The only problem with this tester is if your batteries are low the unit bleeps to let you know its going to auto power off except it doesn't. With Fresh batteries it auto powers off no problem. Found this out because as expected the supplied batteries were rubbish, lasted 1hr before continually bleeping every 15mins. So would recommend removing the batteries when not in use. The plastic storage case is good and has spaces for the batteries.

This is a nice little item, but, it is a little to long for pocket storage. However, it is more likely to be a bench use meter so won't be much of a problem. The meter is what you would expect, slightly slow reading due to the Auto feature. Perhaps a manual version might be in order. Not bad overall.
