The ultimate Destiny Bargain
Bungie's 2014 blockbuster Destiny was the largest, most successful new IP launch of all time in the Video Game world. As the next year went on, they added all sorts of new content: Raids, weapons, social spaces, multiplayer arenas, the list goes on. With Year 1 of Destiny in the past, Year 2 entered, bringing us with all sorts of sandbox updates, a plethora of new weapons and gear, activities and bounties to claim. All of the kind of content you would expect from a brand new game lies waiting for you in The Taken King Destiny expansion, of which the Legendary includes. Dozens of new missions, a New Raid, multiplayer maps and new subclasses are just some more things you can look forward to playing around with. Why should you buy the Legendary Edition?Pros:- Includes: Destiny (base game), Expansion I (Dark Below), Expansion II (House of Wolves), and The Taken King expansion.- $30 USD (At time of purchase). All of these things separately would be $140 USD if you bought each as they were released (as I did).- Bonus content you can't get from all the separate items together- Perfect for getting the same content on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 without paying $200+ on separate addonsThis game truly is one of a kind, with open world activities, great quests and stunning visuals. This is Bungie's post-Halo game, and It's only going to get better. Buy Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition and "Become Legend."

Download codes work fine for expansion, no issue buying new from Amazon
After reading the reviews on here about people saying they bought "Destiny: Legendary Edition" from Amazon brand new, but that it came with codes that were already in use to unlock the expansions and Taken King, and how they had to spend hours on the phone trying to get it fixed, I almost didn't buy it. But I took a chance, and I'm glad I did because I have had absolutely no problems. My game installed fine and the code included in the box worked as well. I'm not sure what was going on with the other reviewers' purchases, but it definitely almost made me not buy the game because of what they were saying. As for the game, so far it seems to be a really good game and I'm enjoying playing it.

I never cared about this game until I bought it on a whim. It is really fun!
Destiny never appealed to me much, but since the game has more content and i got a xim4 (because I am an oldschool pc gamer that couldn't adapt to controllers for fps games) I figured I would pick it up. It is a lot of fun. The story is cool, but not delivered well. Read a lot of stuff in wikis that helped me understand and appreciate it more. Gameplay is solid, just like a halo game. Its definitely worth picking up especially if under the 60 dollar price tag.-edit: I got the ps4 disc version and had no problem activating the taken king.

Wondeful game, but the dlc codes are long expired
I ordered this copy assuming a nearly $30 listing would include the DLC it included...The codes expired in 2018. It shipped fast and well packaged, but there was no clear disclosure that the disk would be basically useless. This product shouldn't be up, and a customer shouldn't have to research beforehand if a product they've bought actually works. Love the game, but buy the DLC from an online storefront

Fun But Dear God the Aiming...
Destiny the Taken King Legendary Edition comes with the new content and all of the old dlc as well. The game boasts about the dlc for 3 guns but... you have to go buy the guns from the vanguard vendor in the hangar and the guns are USELESS. They are far inferior to other guns in the game. NBD just saying. Lets get into the meat of the game.Pros: Graphics are great smooth, and detailed throughout; I notice no framerate drops during play. There are 3 classes to choose from each class having 3 sub classes that you unlock grenades and super ablilities for along the way. The 3rd and newest subclass for each individual class is unlocked through a quest about halfway through the story. The super abilities are fun and the vanguard strikes can be addicting. You run through level 36 bosses a different mission loads each time. It is a great way to level up and get gear and exotics. Overall a decent gaming experience. Now lets get into the cons. Have you ever played a game and thought "this game is good if they fixed these tiny little things it would be excellent"? That is destiny... the cons aren't huge (save one arguably) but they are so recurring that it can be very annoying and infuriating.Cons: Aiming... Dear God the aiming... destiny has an aim assist system. Basically, each gun has a hidden value that determines how much your crosshair, while aiming down your sights or from the hip, slows down when you drag it across an enemy. Also this value determines how much your bullets will be pull to your enemy meaning, if you are very close to dying and hide behind something you can still die from aim assist since 1bullet could be pulled toward you. In Destiny most primary weapons can take 1/3rd to half the clip to kill an enemy, so, the other major problem with aim assist is you will notice when you aiming if you are shooting at one enemy and another steps in front your crosshairs while jump to him or inbetween them and you will die from two enemies shooting you... Not done going on about aiming yet... In general the controls while aiming down your sights are god awful... So much so that you have to strafe (move sideways) to land accurate shots. Trying to move my right analog stick and shoot feels so unresponsive its terrible. Even if I lower my sensitivity now my cursor moves way to slow and I can't play on a swivel. So aiming = bad.2nd major con: no quest board or lobby for raids or story missions. Story missions will get pretty boring a 100% fix to this is putting matchmaking on them like you can for strikes. But for whatever reason Bethesda decided not to do this and you can only do story missions with people in your party aka fireteam. Also, raids take an hour plus on average to complete and you need to communicate with your fireteam to do so. There is no matchmaking, Lobby or questboard for raids.... What does this mean? You have to go OUTSIDE the game to find a team to do raids.... Major drawback more annoying than anything. The final con is the story. I personally do not mind if a game doesn't have a story if the gameplay makes up for it. In destiny there is a story but we are not told too much about it and have to fill in the blanks. Destiny has this huge world, backstory and history but you have to go outside the game on wikis to get it. Yes the game has grimoire cards that tell you some story; but, they are vague, short and absent of detail.Overall, Destiny is a great game outside of the aiming mechanics and lack of matchmaking for a couple modes it is a great play and has taken hours of my life. Just get ready to be frustrated with aiming and have it get you killed 40% of the time.

Great Shooter
Really fun shooter. I am from the "Duke Nukem" era of gaming and don't really play all the new shooters like COD. It often feels like Duke when playing. But I have really enjoyed the return to shooting everything in sight. It is visually beautiful and the story line is interesting. There are multiple characters you can be. There are multiple storylines to follow with the respective characters. Some of the online content is available without a PSN commitment. But much of the gaming involving multiple player campaigns must be done by having a PSN account. I can't offer how good or not good it is compared to other versions but I know I have had a good time so far.

Excellent story line
Excellent story line, immersive and very captivating single player mode. The variety offered within the characters choices (weapons, armor, gear, etc) is well balanced and well designed. The multiplayer Mode is also very fun, with various type of campaigns. Strongly recommended for adventurous players looking for something new.
