GRAPHIC 45 4501957 DLX COLLECTR ED Pack Bird Song

I assumed, by looking at the cover, that this set would be at least mostly Japanese prints & images. But no, more than half is Chinese. There aren't any other photos so there's no way to tell. And when you zoom in on the cover it's too blurry to see any details although I could make out two Geishas. This wouldn't matter maybe to most people but I'm working on a project for someone who is Japanese. So right off the bat, over half off the set I cannot use as intended. Secondly, there's only one other page besides the cover that has another Geisha or any Japanese artwork. On it the images are squared off, so you'd think you could cut them out individually. But no, there are two butterflies that overlap three images, each (so six images total). So if you cut out one image, you cut right through the butterfly. And the Geisha in the middle, her kimono overlaps the print underneath it. So you can only use the page as a whole sheet or abstractly. I don't know who's idea that was but it's a waste in my opinion. Also, there's only one print with the traditional cherry blossoms on it that are usually associated with Japanese art and culture. There are several others that have a fuller, much different looking cherry blossoms that resemble a rose more than a traditional cherry blossom. In fact I think most people will think they are roses. Some of the prints are nice, some not so much. None that I would consider "special". I much prefer the "Oriental Garden" pad by Stamperia. It's beautiful and more of what I was looking for. But lastly, the chip board smells horrible. I normally don't mind smelly paper, etc but this is overwhelming. So if you are sensitive to smells, you might want to pass on this one. I realize that for most people these issues might not matter but I wish I knew before buying it. Because of this I'm writing this review. Other than the aforementioned issues, the quality of the paper is nice, thick and sturdy.

I had single sheets of this GF45 paper but was holding back from buying the full package due to high price. I finally found this to be of good value for the full set with stickers and I bought it after a long time. These designs are gorgeous! Note that they are a mix of Chinese and Japanese women/imagery.

I love this Graphic 45 collection. The papers are lovely and coordinate well. I made a mini album as a gift using this collection. By far, it's my favorite collection.
