My fav; delivers smoothness, sheen, control to my curly, gray, caucasian hair. Good for all types.
I have curly hair that tends to be frizzy & poufy here in Florida. I am also a retired hair stylist. I like to cocktail my products & here’s how I use this product: once I shampoo & liberally condition my hair, I try to keep it uniformly damp. Once hair has started to dry, you’re already losing some control of it. I gently remove my hair turban towel, & use a good pick to gently coax out the tangles (a lot) & loose hair (also a lot), by starting to pick at the bottom, near the ends, & work my way gently up towards the scalp, a little at a time. Also, this is key: start to pick hair from the underside, not the top surface. Someone once showed this to me, & my combout process got a lot nicer. You can also spray with a little light leave-in conditioner or protein spray, or even rose water. Then I make my mix: an egg-sized dollop of alcohol-free mousse, about 2-3 pumps of this Biolage product, & about a dime-sized little squirt of Chi Serum, by Farouk (the makers of Biosilk). I smoosh all this together, trying to keep it all in my hands, lol, & start applying all over hair while my head is slumped over. Try to distribute evenly, making sure to apply to not just the exterior of hair, but the interior as well, lifting hair apart & pushing it thru, scrunching as you go. I generally just air dry, but you can dry with a diffuser to good effect, as well. Also: you can apply just this product, you can apply this product or cocktail before you combout, & you can also comb or brush hair straight & smooth, too, & use a clamp to hold taut. Again, I let mine air dry, but you can get a great blowout using this stuff. It is very protective for heat styled hair. If you let it air dry, you can expect it to initially feel & look “crunchy” or stiff, like 80’s curls, but once dry all the way, you can just scrunch your dry curls or your dry, combed-smooth hair & it instantly softens. Oh, & if you just need to control some flyaways, etc, you can use a small amount rubbed between hands to smooth hairs down. I will track this stuff to the ends of the Earth!!!

works just as advertised and is a great product
It is more of a gel/lotiony kind of consistency for anyone who was wondering, just as i was. I took a gamble purchasing for that reason, because i have very fine hair and prefer gel like leave-ins, but i’m so far pleased. It smells great, nothing too potent or overwhelming, and it made my hair so soft and hydrated. it’s best to comb the product through your hair for a more even distribution, and to comb/brush after it has dried as well. It might look stiff if you don’t, but that’s just because the hair sticks together when drying and gives the impression of stiffness, but brushing it should pull the hair apart and fix it right away.

No frizzy ends
My hair is fine and frizzes easily on the ends. This leave-in conditioner is definitely the answer to that problem. And it dries very lightly in the hair not leaving any residue or heaviness. Here is a shot of my hair after using it at the beauty salon.
