Office 2019 Professional Plus 32/64 Bit

After somewhat unbelievably purchasing this version of office for Less than £20 I awaited with trepidation to discover if I would be downloading office or claiming a refund.Yet 30 mins later (on a Sunday night) I had an email from the seller with my product key. There was a link provided to the setup.office.com website in the email, but still feeling uncertain I opted to type it manually into my browser (using Chrome).I signed in, gave the code, and clicked download. I had a message come up saying it had found my 64bit office and this was a 32 bit installation, but I just clicked 'install 64 bit instead'.Some time later (I downloaded it over WiFi), perhaps 30 mins or so, it was downloaded. It's when you load up an office program that it tells you the activation code has been used before. You then click to do it yourself rather than over the internet and are given a number to call and a code (a series of sets of numbers) to use. I called the number, which seems to be a 24/7 automated system, and opted to do it over my phone's internet than otherwise. I clicked a link that was texted to me which led to a microsoft mobile website and I entered the code. This generated another code which I put back into the office activation window and voila.I now have working office 2019 pro and for less than £20. After my order it's now showing as unavailable on Amazon but I hope for others that it is back up soon.

One is generally worried about buying sw in this way – but it downloaded and activated ok.The download link and licence key were in the invoice, which was emailed within two hours. The download site was the usual setup dot office dot com.However, the process is complex. I had to follow the following steps (not all mentioned by the supplier):PART ONE - DOWNLOAD- click on the link in supplier's invoice- log on to MS site- enter product key on invoice- select country (language)- **UNTICK** Office 365- download the .exe installation file- click on .exe file to install ‘MS Office’ on your computer.PART TWO - ACTIVATION (two people are needed to carry out this task !!!)- Click on an application, eg ‘Word’- Tick ‘activate by phone’- Dial one of two phone numbers (there is a free phone number) to call MS (automated) activation call centre – you can phone at night- Enter a long string of numbers shown on your screen, into your phone (the call centre system does not give enough time to read and enter the numbers, so one person has to read the numbers off the screen, and another enter them into the phone)- Then the call centre will give you the PRODUCT ID (8 blocks of 6 digits each) which you have to input into the activation boxes on the computer screen (the call centre system does not give enough time to input these numbers, so one person has to listen to / check these numbers while another enters them into the computer screen)- Now the call centre asks you to keep a note of the Product ID for future use and you have now to copy down these 6x8 (ie 48) digits on a paper (except, you guessed it, the call centre does not give you enough time – so you have to press ‘star’ to ask the call centre process ‘to wait’- Once you have done the above, you can click ‘end/next’- If the screen response is ‘activated’, you have to enter ‘1’ into the phone, otherwise ‘2’ (presumably to repeat the process – luckily I didn’t have to go through that!!!).Next, I checked the applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint – and lo and behold they seem to work fine – without any more drama.Was it value for money … yes.Hope this helps!

Microsoft informed that the product key supplied has been used many times - how can Amazon allow software pirates to use their shop front?? Stay away from this.

Please note that besides using the supplier instructions for installing for 64 bit you also need to:1. Uninstall any previous Microsoft Office installations you have on your PC2. NB In addition you will also need to Uninstall Visio and/or MS Project if you already have these installed on your PC I.e. when trying to install the 64 bit setup it gives you an error saying that you still have 32 bit MS Office installed even though you have already uninstalled it because of Visio and MS Project being installed.

I'd had trouble with another key from someone else that I couldn't get to work, even with telephone authentication, and so was fully prepared for this to go wrong too but it worked! I did initially download the install file from setup.office.com, which made me set up a Microsoft account and then ended up installing Office that was only available on the web, which wasn't what I wanted, but when I downloaded the install from the Office 2019 link further down in the Amazon email, then it installed Office 2019 on my computer and in my start menu. All authenticated, phew! Fingers crossed it still works tomorrow but I was so excited I wanted to reassure people that it does work.Edit: It worked the next day and it's been a few weeks now and it's still all good.
