This is the first CCTV gadget I have bought, and was half expecting it to not work with my basic WiFi home package or be of poor quality, but have been genuinely impressed with it. It's incredible how you can access it and look 360 degrees around your room from thousands of miles away whilst on holiday. I had a spare 1GB microSD card and decided to use that rather than purchase anything additional initially, and have found that it lasts roughly 2 days, because it isn't recording all the time, only when it is triggered, and that can be by changes in lights, e.g. car headlights passing my window, or the postman delivering letters and so on. You can play back the little video snippets it captures to see what triggered it. Usually car headlights passing in the street lighting up through my windows, for where I have it positioned. The night vision is incredible - very clear and impressive, and I only use it on the low quality setting so it is easier to access over a remote internet connection abroad. I can thoroughly recommend it, and now that I know it works so well I am considering buying one for upstairs too, just for peace of mind with respect to all the recent storms, to check the windows are ok and there's no leaking from the roof or something. It's an amazing gadget for the money, and installation was straightforward.

Home security

I got these to keep an eye on my dogs - although they would be great as a general home/work CCTV option.The set up of them is easy and you are guided through the process at initial set up. You will finish by having the two (or more) cameras connected within an app and can see them at the same time, side by side.The image quality is good, better in the day than at night but they do have infra-red so do offer a view in the dark, albeit not a very clear one.They are well priced too - certainly not overpriced as some competitors are for an equally good product.You can pan/tilt/zoom them too and the quality isn't greatly affected by doing so. The motion detection works a treat especially if watching animals so you can be alerted to their movements!Overall, very impressed.

This is reolink camera 3. Extremely versatile just like the other 2. So many options including presets.Beautiful colour etc etc. Value for money 10/10....just discovered that camera 3 has the same code as one of the other ones and CANNOT connect to WiFi. " this device is already in use" message says.

I bought this as I already have a POE Reolink CCTV system with 4 wired cameras. It was very easy to connect this IP camera to the same system, and shows up alongside the security cameras in the app. Now I can keep an eye on my princess as she sleeps up on to of the cupboard!

The media could not be loaded.  I got this to keep an eye on my cat whilst I’m at work as he had to have his back leg amputated. It’s really good quality pictures and video too. Sometimes it can be a bit unresponsive when moving the view but that could be due to poor Wi-Fi connection. The night vision is really clear, I don’t use the sound option but it seems to work ok. All in all I’m super happy with it as it has all the features I need and I got it on Prime Day, so added bonus.

E1 is decent for the money, especially the two pack but beware limitations and perhaps just pay a bit extra for the Pro. Relatively easy to set up and get recording on an SD card or your chosen alternative. A little disappointed these items don't come with an EU and a UK attachment (I'm sure the E1 Pro did), so watch out if buying from UK for use elsewhere in Europe.Also, and this is my fault for not triple-checking the specs, the E1 is not compatible with Synology Surveillance station - but my E1 Pro is. So no idea what the actual difference is. I mistakenly thought there wouldn't be much difference (maybe picture quality) and that'd I'd be able to use the E1 in my surveillance station. Alas, not the case. So these camera's are maybe only useful as a baby monitor, certainly not as part of a robust security set up, given ReoLink Cloud does not work in EU.

Annoyingly, this has gone down in price since I bought it!But that's really the only annoying thing. I'm not very gadget minded (I don't have a smart phone) and I was worried about setting this up, which would be with my PC. For that I had to download the Reolink Client. Once I had that, connection to my wi-fi was relatively simple once I realised what SSID meant and had obtained a mgnifying glass to read the UID on the base of the camera.So far so good, but I did than have problems setting up the cameral for motion-triggered overnight recording of my poorly dog. The instructions that come with the camera don't really say anything about that, although I suspect that people who are used to gadgetry probably wouldn't have any difficulty. So I got in touch with Reolink support thriough the chat facility on their website and they were wonderful, referred me to various helpful documents on the website and were extermely patient! End result was that I quickly realised what I had to do and successfully set up SD recording.Picture quality is very good and is clear as a bell at night. After these initial teething problems, I'm really pleased with the product and with the support.

Habe schon lange überlegt mir so eine Ü-Kamera für Zuhause zu kaufen. War lange auf der Suche nach einer bei der, der Preis passt und man sie auch ohne Verbindung zum Internet nutzen kann.Die Einrichtung der Kamera ist sehr einfach, App installieren, Passwort eingeben, QR-Code der Kamera scannen, Schritt für Schritt den Anweisungen folgen, mit dem Wlan verbinden und siehe da sie Funktioniert.Man kann in der App alles Einstellen war man möchte wie z.B. einen Bereich den man Schwarz lassen möchte um die Privatsphäre zu waren, Zeiten in der sie nichts man also keine Aufnahmen oder Alarme uvm.Positiv ist das man "Kein Konto" braucht wenn man sie Offline nutzen will, d.h. es wird alles auf der SD Karte "Lokal" gespeichert und sie überschreibt auf Wunsch direkt alte Aufnahmen, falls man das möchte also funktioniert sie sozusagen Autark. Wenn man auch von Unterwegs aus drauf zugreifen möchte, braucht man bestimmt ein Konto bei Reolink. Was man machen kann wenn es der Router erlaubt (Fritz Box), ist das man ihr die Verbindung zum Internet unterbinden kann und sie trotzdem "Lokal" funktioniert. Also nur Live Übertragungen im Wlan Zuhause und eine Lokale Speicherung per SD falls gewünscht.Für das Geld was sie kostet macht sie sehr gute Tag und Nacht aufnahmen. Und sie muss nicht mit dem Internet Verbunden bleiben. Man braucht nur die Reolink App und das wars.
