Riedell Leather Toe Caps Pair - Black

Perfect. They are not bulky and and they don't slide around. My Jackson skates have velcro lace covers that open up on both sides. These Riedell toe caps compliment these skates perfectly. The location of the lace holes on the toe caps allows them to be secured from the toe stop, over and under the lace covers and into the boot's lacing. Its definitely worth protecting the leather on the toe box. It beats the classic duct tape toe guards.

These do NOT fit Sure-Grip Avanti skates but I will not deduct stars for a fitment issue; I knew I was talking a chance.However the build quality of these caps are very nice and were they to fit the installation is very easy; remove toe stop, slip it through toe cap and reinstall stop on skate. Un-lace skates, weave the laces through the grommets on the caps and then re-lace skates. That's it. For the stitch, material and build quality I gave five stars. There are no instructions included but toe stops are usually not purchased by newbie skaters so I won't deduct for that either.I will be submitting a return claim as they do not fit but I was really hoping they would.If your skates are Sure-Grip Avantis, give these a miss; these caps will not fit your skates.Update: atrocious autocorrect gaffs and copy & paste errors corrected.

Sturdy tor caps that wear down very gradually. Lacing is dependent on your skates and preference.

These are so so so so small. I was so excited to get these for my husband for his birthday. and they don't fit I even tried them on my moxies and then don't fit those either. I guess ill be returning them... Disappointed. I gave 2 stars because they are good quality but they didn't list anywhere how small they were or have options for a bigger size. My husband skates Sure-Grip Boardwalks.

Although the lack of instructions on how to install these kinda made me uneasy, they are not nearly as complex to install as one might think. The only question I had was lace placement. And from what I can tell, it's ultimately up to you. They fit the Riedell R3 skate perfectly and I had no problem lacing them to the skate. If you do have a pair of R3s, I would highly recommend buying a set of these to save the toes of your skates.<Krankenwagen>

I'm trying to develop as a skater, so I bought a fairly expensive pair of skates. Falling in them left them scuffed on the toes. This product seemed like a good way to protect my investment. These were easy to install, but they are not a perfect visual fit for my skates. I had to get creative with my lacing to make them work. After I got everything worked out they functioned well. The caps are well made, and for somebody with different skates they will probably look and fit better.

WAYYYYY tooo small, These must be for kid skates. Unfortunately I didn't try to put this on until 2 months after I ordered so I cannot return. Waste of $21.

Perfect for protecting the toes of my skates! Prolongs the life of your skates! I have the Riedell Solaris’ and the toe box is a little wider than most skates but they still fit just fine :)

The fit my Riedell artistic skates perfectly. I can now skate without paranoia of scuffing up the front whilst out skating. I had planned to buy fake leather/vegan protection but they tend to be overpriced for what they are and wear down a lot quicker. These are very robust and value for money. I'm very happy with my purchase.
