This teapot is exactly like the ones I remember from Ireland. It is not large, but is a good size if you want more than a single cup for yourself. The handle does not get hot. It is a simple, functional teapot and I am delighted with it.

This teapot only holds 4 - 8 ounce cups. It definitely is not a 6 cup tea pot.

Pendeford Housewares 1 Litre/ 1.7 Pint 6 Cup Tea Pot - perfect size. I've used ceramic teapots from childhood until early this year when I tried a series of glass tea pots. Having broken or chipped my ceramic ones (mainly the lids on taps), and smashed both glass tea pots (yes BOTH) through cleaning accidents), I decided on something a bit more hardy.This silver teapot reminds me of visits to my aunt. Back when a tin kettle was the mainstay of any urban household. The Pendeford is average sized with a 1970s retro look. Deceptively lightweight. Imagine my surprise when using it and finding tea bags I've used forever (PG Tips) taste DIFFERENT in this tea pot. It's incredible. Just like they say wine tastes different in a mug or pint glass rather than in a formal wine glass, tea tastes different depending on the tea pot! Who knew? My tea tastes lovely, flavoursome like tea with tea leaves, OMG! I can't believe I've missed out all these years. I'm buying another on for work! I'd highly recommend this tea pot or at least urge any tea lovers to ditch the ceramics/glass and get one of these!!!

Gute Kanne, finde man sollte heutzutage immer einen Induktionsadapter dazulegen.Die Kanne ist sehr geschmacksneutral, kann man nicht von allen behaupten. Koche ausschließlich nur schwarzen Tee damit, ganzes Blatt.

Die Kanne ist optisch ein Hingucker, auch bleibt der Tee länger warm, nur Vorsicht, frisch aufgefüllt ist das Metallgehäuse auch an den Schraubstellen sehr heiß...
