Camels (Elementary Explorers)

I have two daughters, age 4 and 7. So far we have the Red Panda, Red Foxes, Cats, Giraffes, Koalas, Quokkas, Camels, and Tigers books all by this author, Victoria Blakemore, under the Elementary Explores series. We love every single one of them!! In each book the glossary includes topics such as Kinds of ____ (so for foxes it addresses there are more than one type of fox but then the book focuses on red foxes), Physical Characteristics, Habitat, Range, Diet, Communication, Movement, Lifespan, Population, something on their babies (using the appropriate term such as Joey, Kit, etc), and helping the animal (addressing whether they're endangered, stable, considered a pest, etc) or how the animal helps people. Each topic is typically two pages with part of the odd page being a picture. Each book has a glossary and if the word in the book is in the glossary it's in bold print. There are interesting facts on each animal and I have learned something in each book as well. My daughters love them, I think they're very reasonably priced (paperback), and we continue to purchase them for different animals (we have Sea Turtles on the way).
