Quicksilver Black Diamond 3-Blade Aluminum Propeller - For Mercury and MerCruiser Engines

I bought this part trusting that it would fit according to the manufacturer's recommendations. This part did not even come close to fitting even though it stated it would when I bought it. Even the box it came in states that it's supposed to fit. Contacted manufacturer and they said that they could not exchange or take the part back that it would have to go through AMAZON; however, there's no place on this order for me to return or exchange it. I spent almost $200 including other needed materials for the Propeller, for a paperweight. I would be satisfied if amazon or the company could help me with this!

This is very easy to install with proper kit and wrench. I did it by backing the boat (Bayliner BR175) onto my lift and working from the dock. For safety I placed a tarp under the outdrive, but nothing fell anyway. Preparation took much more time than job itself, which was about ten minutes. I got huge improvements in performance, probably mostly because the old plastic insert was worn out. But for the price I opted to replace the propeller as well and glad I did.

This was an easy replacement prop on my Bayliner 185 i/o drive. I think I was using the same prop before, but I feel like after doing the replacement I got 1 or 2 extra MPH, so now I can hit 40MPH consistently compared to before. This does not come with a drive tube or whatever you call that--it's the plastic rectangular tube that goes over the driveshaft--so be sure to pick one up, too, in case it turns out that yours needs to be replaced.

Replaced an old prop that i had oof'ed.newer props now have the size and pitch stamped on the side, really nice.

It was a chance that the Mercury hub was included as it is pictured with one in the prop but no joy. It's a decent price but it would be better to not have to now look for a hub. The description could easily have included that information but I guess you sell more props by not including it.

After trying two aftermarket props that didn't fit over the thrust washer, the factory brand fit like a glove. If you have a 2018 or newer Mercury 15 or 20hp outboard beware, it looks like the thrust washer profile changed slightly and the aftermarket props don't fit over it. I'm not knocking aftermarket props, I've had great luck with them, particularly Solas, they just don't seem to have made the change for the new motor design, but they indicate they will fit when you look them up.

Purchased as a temporary replacement for my Stainless prop which went to get work done. Performs well, no issues at allMake sure you order the right one, the first one I got was the wrong hub size (for Alpha drive). The description will say what legs it works on

This is a new to me pontoon with a 115 mercury on it. The current prop seen better days with chewed up edges. A quick look up by part number and this one popped up. Install was a breeze. It's not the best prop out there but it's for a pontoon so it will work absolutely fine. After a year of playing I may change size and pitch but for now ..im a happy boater with a new factory prop

Quicksilver makes great propellers and this one lives up to that. Installed on a 60hp mercury and installation was a breeze with the included hub kit.(I don't think all sizes have the hub included). The propeller is a pitch down from my other and it did the trick with more rpms and great acceleration. It has a good hole shot and plane out fast on my 17foot legend console boat. Was shipped prime in no time.

I dont belive mercury just let this thing out of the factory,its brand new,but one blade looks different with other 2,the paint also looks rough, I bought mercury propeller before, exactly not like this,hopes they can improve there quality control.

Item arrived with some rough casting marks on blade with some paint missing. These are not high quality quicksilver props that I am used to. Internals splines are plastic (not brass/bronze)

I replaced my 21 pitch prop with this 19 inch to improve hole shot performance on my 18 foot stingray when I’m pulling 3 kids on a large tube. It works better. Id say 20% improvement with 6 mile loss at top end! And mild vibration at high speed. But your also buying this brand cause it’s cheap.

Adaptor worked perfectly for our 40 hp Yamaha. Only snag was the locking nut holding the prop on wouldn't thread properly. We used the old nut with the new locking washer with bend up tabs. Have taken it out a few times with no issues.
