excellent
This is a great refresher prior to exams. It is not a textbook so do not expect it as a reference with complete index and coverage of all the subjects in calculus. It is excellent practice book with many examples for excellent price.

Big, hard to use
Took a chance on buying this (Kaplan AP Calculus AB&BC) without any useful previous reviews. Turned out to be a bad decision. Here's why:First the book is HUGE, 769 pages, intimidating to the target audience (16-17 year olds).Second, the book has no index, and the table of contents just gives the name of the chapter, so it is very hard to look up anything of importance, say "Points of inflection" or "Slope field", to see where it's covered in the text. No idea what the editors of this book were thinking.Third, the most useful parts of the book ("You need to know this" sections that cover the theory), are too brief.A large part of the book (250+ pages) is practice exams. By now everyone should know that AP Calculus practice tests are freely available from College board and there should be no need to use any tests from private companies.I wish AP prep books would focus on what is really needed (explain hard concepts in simple language to 16-17 year olds who have limited time and attention span) and cut out the rest. Too bad the Cliffs notes for AP Calculus hasn't been updated in years.

should be called calculator-lus
many errors in problems and solutions. Repetitive problems and mostly simple free response questions. Not a college level preparatory book.

Too many Errors
The content covers the AP materials well, and not too lengthy, but the errors are very annoying.

Horrible
Not like Kaplan’s other study guide books for this course. It it way too condensed and difficult to follow. The practice exams repeat questions, so when they say they have so many practice tests, they don’t. Not worth the money. Absolutely horrible.

Ridiculous
This text is huge and as someone else said, it has no index. The questions are very difficult and full of very tricky math that takes away from understanding of the content. There is no way anyone could do them within the time constraints.
