Earthborn Holistic Natural Food For Pet Weight Control

Earthborn is an excellent dog food. Top quality ingredients and great for your pet. I like that they have the probiotics, vitamins, minerals and glucosamine already in food no need to buy pricey supplements. So while it's a higher end food it saves you money in the long run. Not just on added supplements either, better food means less health problems and vet visits. I manage a grooming and boarding facility trust me when I tell you quality food for your pets DOES make a difference a BIG difference in health, skin and coat condition of your dog. We buy this formula because out lab was about 25 lbs over weight and vet recommended a weight control food. This formula is terrific our dog loves it and has lost about 20lbs and is toned like a 5 yr old! He is 10! He's much quicker getting up from a lying position as well since losing the extra lbs he had on him! Thank You Earthborn for helping me to keep my beloved family member healthier and happier!!

We started feeding this food 2 years ago as we were having issues keeping our chihuahua and Pomeranians weight in check. We read the reviews and jumped on the grain free trend in the hopes that this highly rated food would solve our issues. During this two year period, feeding the recommended portions our dogs did not lose weight. Our Pomeranian never loved the taste of the food from the jump, but we took the no option approach as she’s particular to begin with. Year in and I noticed my dogs coats had become dull, and they just kind of seemed kind of low energy. At about 1 1/2 years in our chihuahua started getting sick and very bloated. We took her to the vet and our vet asked what we were feeding her and he promptly warned us to stay away from boutique grain free dog foods, explaining that larger companies spend millions on research etc. to make a long story short, and after this food being in a the top 16 dog foods to stay away from, we switched to Purina pro plan small breed kibble. We were shocked to see the turnaround in both our dogs in a week. They went from depressed, bloated, miserable dogs to happy, healthy active dogs I remembered prior to starting on this food. My dogs coats are shiny and beautiful and we are sick over the fact that our dogs were miserable for two years. We didn’t realize just how bad it was till we switched to a new food and are now remembering how our dogs were prior to switching. Stay far away from this food and do some current research, as this food is now listed as a very poor choice.

I had been feeding my senior female golden retriever Wellness Core reduced fat for over a year. When the price increased from $50 to $65 for a 26 lb bag, I about fainted, and decided to switch. My golden girl is the sweetest dog, and since she has been so loyal to me, I figure the least I could do for her is feed her top quality food. I did lots of research, and discovered Earthborn. The reviews were all very good, not to mention it is quite a bit cheaper than Wellness, so I decided to try it. She loves it, has lost a little weight to boot (she was only a pound or two overweight), and her coat is so soft and shiny. All you have to do is read all the other positive reviews to realize this is top quality stuff-I'm glad I made the switch.

I started buying this line of dog food because I went gluten free and decided grain free would likely benefit my superdog “Junie”. She needs to lose weight and is making progress on the weight control formula. She also had to take daily steroids for IBS. After starting her on this food- slowly and startling- her condition got better. I have tried other holistic dog food but none produced these results! She no longer needs medication and it’s a blessing for us both.

Nothing wrong with the quality of this dog food. Our problem is with the size kibble for Large & Extra Large dogs. These kibbles are small, even puppies can eat this dog food. We have Great Danes and we waste so much kibbles every month, as a lot of the kibbles fall from their mouths whilst jomping away. We end up with much waste. If we had smaller dogs, then this could possible solve the problem, as they would be able to vacuum eat the kibbles laying all over their eating space. (Often these kibbles gets mixed up with sand, dust, debris etc, so we always sweep it up and throw it away outside amongst the bushes. We also alternate and mix our dogfood to make flavors more interesting for our dogs. The other brand we use, is the Hills Science diet. I found that these kibbles, the Great Danes consume easier and they. have more control eating without wasting. If only this brand would accommodated producing this dog food with bigger kibbles, then only will I again purchase this brand. To find bigger kibbles for large & extra large dogs is a mission. So far, I have only found Hills Science diet and tonight, discovered Royal Canine with bigger kibbles.

Best dog food I've ever given to my dogs. They love it, less poop, no gas. With 2 English Bull Dogs & 1 French Bull Dog that says a TON about the quality of this food.

I have a room mate with two overweight dogs, and talked him into this food to help them shed some lbs. I have been feeding it to them about 3 weeks and not really seeing any noticeable weight loss yet, but they do eat it fine. I hope with the increased exercise, and reduced calories of this food, that we will start seeing some weight loss soon. For what it's worth, as usual with dog food bags, the suggested amount on the bag is WAY too much for weight loss! Feed the dog, not the bag...

Our large dog rescue was way overweight - could hardly walk so exercise started with a daily swim in the pool. After a little research, started her on this dry food. For variety, supplemented it with a little white chicken or 2 tablespoons canned food (weight control type) per meal. Feed her 2 times a day, 2 cups per meal. Exercise goes hand in hand with diet so she gets walked daily and in the summer we still swim her in the pool. After 2 years she is now down to normal weight and active. Her meals now consist of 1/2 of this Earthborn wt control and 1/2 Earthborn Holistic Primitive Natural Grain Dry Dog Food. She loves the taste so this food is a win win.

Meine Labidame ist seeehr verfressen und hat eine Getreideallergie. Daher bekommt sie weight controll. Habe 3 Packungen bestellt. Leider waren nur 2 weight controll. 1 normal. Habei es nicht zurückgeschickt, war aber doch etwas verärgert
