Mars Professional Dog Stripping Knife Grooming Tool, Left-Handed, for Mediun Fur

I have an 11 year old wirehaired pointing griffon. I wish i bought this 10 years ago. This is the tool i needed to break out the wire coat this dog is supposed to have. I've tried 20 different brushes but none have given me what i was looking for. This worked amazingly well. After an hour and a half, i have a different dog. It removed the soft, dull, dead hair and left shinny, wiry, tough coat that made my old girl look like a puppy. If you have a wire coat dog, this is the tool your looking for.I gave it 5 stars for its effectiveness. It took awhile for the first time, but i expect she won't need it again for at least a month or 3.

I have 2 Airedale terriers and use this stripping knife for finishing after I clip them. Removes just enough of their undercoat especially in the summer months. Easy to hold and control. I recommend it.

Good easy to use stripper for us lefties! Has a decent weight and balance in hand, I'm happy I spent the money on a left stripper, dog is happier and stripping is quicker..

I thought this would be a little sharper. It just doesn't work like I thought.
