I use these to catch sunfish and bluegill at my cottage in western NY. They work really well. I like that you do not have to put new bait on nearly as often as you would with worms and other live bait. Perhaps a little pricey but worth it in the long run. The work well on ice fishing jigs

I secure 2 glitter eggs above the hook before I thread the worm. The trout love the orange, green and pink eggs. The hits are more aggressive and the fish come in high on the hook which increases the hook ups.

I love the power eggs but the sparkle on these is kind of silly. Most of the glitter just comes off and gets stuck on your fingers and most of what remains on the egg comes off in the water so by the time the fish sees it almost all of the glitter is gone.

Me and the guys go on a trout fishing trip one to two times a year. Powerbait has proved to be the most valuable item in our tacklebox. Some struggle with live bait, corn soaked in various concoctions, lures and spinner baits. They never catch as much fish as those of us using just plain, reliable Powerbait and a hook.

These do work for trout/steelhead...Is gonna be in top 3 go to bait for trout.

Get regular powerbait or nuggets instead...they work better than this.

I’ve used power eggs before with our issue but these eggs did not produce the results I normally get. Might be the scent I don’t know.
