Fun game
I bought this game for my family, mostly my racecar-obsessed 7yo son. The rules are pretty detailed but we simplified them on our own to make the game easier and more fun for our kids and he loved it. We play it often and it is a great game. As he gets older we can add in some of the more detailed rules. Great family game!

Fun and easy
Son is a huge nascar fan and we got this game for him for Christmas. It is fun to play, multiple player or just two. Easy to learn and fun to play. Also great and compact for travel too.

Fast paced and loads of fun
I gave this to my 7 year old grandson who loves nascar. The game was easy for him and he had a lot of fun playing it with his Dad.

Just a great game.
So I bought this game because it was super cheap. I found out though that this is one of those instances that I got way more than I payed for.The fun factor for this one is at least a 10. I have played it with my parents as well as my close friends and we all very much enjoyed it.I can not comment on the educational value of the toy other than if you are score keeper you need to be able to add and subtract three digit numbers easily or you may end up behind on the record sheet.I would say overall it is a rather durable product unless you lose the dice. If you misplace a die the game would be done for. One thing I have found that makes it easier to keep the dice in the cup and the bag that come in the package, is to place the bag over the cup so that when you are holding the bag by the strings the cup is upside-down.This is the only way I managed not to lose the dice the one time I took it traveling. At first I did not do this and had a scare when I opened the bag and could only find 4 dice. Luckily the rest of them were in the bottom of my duffel bag.Overall this is a very entertaining game and it can be very revealing. You quickly learn which of your playmates is a risk taker and which is the slow and steady type.

Fun game even if you are not a race fan
I ordered this game over several of the other sport versions because it was cheaper, we are not race fans. My 6 and 8 year old boys love to play it, and they can play for hours. I on the other hand am easily bored by board games. This game is fast paced enough to keep me interested but also allows for me to bow out quickly if I am only up for one game. The game also encourages math skills, with my 6 year old adding two digit numbers in his head, and counting by fives to locate his position on the "track" The game comes with a little drawstring pouch that holds the cup, dice, instructions, and scorecard if you put the scorecards in first.

OK little dice game
Go500 Racing Car Dice Game is a simple "push your luck" dice game for up to 6 players. What you get:9 polyhedral (12 sided) dice. These are well made, easy to read dice that come in multiple colors-each color serves a different purpose in the game.Small rules folder. The rules are presented in a colorful brief format designed to make learning the game fast and easy. The rules are not crystal clear, but the game is so simple that you should be able to figure things out without too much trouble.Scorepad. Excessively large colorful scorepad looks cool, but its use is not intuitive and its use not explained in the rules. Very clunky and ineffective when a player is forced to lose points. Use ordinary paper and pencil instead.Dice Cup. Very nice large sturdy cup ensures random results and helps prevent dice from rolling out of control.Storage Bag. Leatherette cinch-top bag holds the dice and rules well in a compact travel package. Doesn't really hold the scorepad, though.Box. Overpackaged, hard to open box of air. Discard right away. How to Play:Players roll 7 dice in an effort to accumulate as many points (miles) as possible. Most of these dice (black) show numbers from 0 to 25. One of the dice (white) shows colored flags instead of numbers, and 9 of the 12 possible results (green flags) permit a player to continue rolling the mileage dice after setting aside those he likes. If a black flag comes up on this die, a player's turn is ended and all points accumulated this turn are lost. If a red or yellow flag comes up, additional dice are rolled that modify players' totals. Players can lose some points, and other players in the game may be affected as well. There is also a green die that has bigger numbers but is governed by some special rules that might take it out of play during a turn.If all of this sounds complicated, don't worry. It's not. Just roll a big old handfull of dice, set aside the big numbers, and keep going with the others until you decide to quit before a black flag comes up on the flag die. First player to 500 points (miles) wins.Impressions:Good components and fast play make this game a good choice for killing some time. If you enjoy games like Farkle and Cinq-O this game is worth checking out as a variation on that theme. There's not much strategy here, and the racing theme of the game doesn't really work despite the fiddly extra dice and rules. If you want a game that evokes the thrills of auto racing look elsewhere! But if you want a simple party dice game, Go500 fits the bill.

Fun to Play
We had played the dice game before so we wanted more games like it. Bought this one plus the football and basketball ones. We now have all 4. Our group loves to play them.
