Works Great with the FastLED Arduino Library as P9813 type w/ 1 LED
Up and running in 5 mins, no soldering or MOSFET junk needed any more for these simple RGB LED strips! Not a lot of info on using these modules I could find out there. So use this and you'll be up and running in a few minutes :)1. Use the FastLED library for Arduino. Suggest the "ColorPalette" example it has to start.2. Connect 12V supply to the module, 2 jumpers to 5v and GND on Arduino, 2 jumpers to any Arduino Digital pins for the CLK/DTA pins of the module.3. Match the RGB strip wires to the terminal blocks 4 pins on the module.4. Change the Fast library code library example where the IO pins match what you plugged into.5. Set the NUM_LEDs value to 1 (The library controls the module and strip like (1) RGB LED).6. Change the "addLeds" code lines in the library examples to the P9813 type (regardless of chip on the strip) FastLED.addLeds<P9813, DATA_PIN, CLOCK_PIN , RGB>(leds, NUM_LEDS)7. Have Fun! :)
