Women's Heavenly HDD Jacket

Great jacket!! Love this style of Columbia products the inner dry fit cuff with thumbs holes is awesome. Jacket is a great weight for wearability and movement if your going to be active in it. Slightly longer than a lot of jackets this length and has a slight tail in back to help cover your butt both of which I like. The waterproof is holding up to light rain a and snow. Its quite warm. I can layer under it for extra cold days but also if I am wearing this jacket instead of my parka its because I am out hiking, biking, skiing something active so I am keeping myself warm as well, so I don't know if you'd need to adjust for that. I live in Alaska and it is holding up well for me. I am 5'6" 135-140 and got a small I can fit a few layers under it including fleece. Fleece lined hood and pockets are nice as well as extra inner chest pocket and zip shut outer pockets. Great jacket great quality without spending a small fortune on the next tier of brands

I bought this coat for a recent trip to Ireland, which is rainy this time of year. The jacket held up fairly well to the rain, except for a 2 hour horseback ride in a nearly constant deluge. Even though I was soaked through, I stayed warm because of the interior thermal lining. My only suggestion would be to make it waterproof. Otherwise great coat that kept me warm!

I love this coat!!!!! Omg so soft and lightweight, cute little thumb holes that you can still put gloves on over and be under the outer cuff of the jacket at the same time. It covers my butt so when I sit down on something cold it keeps me from feeling how cold it is lol. The coat I always wore before this, also Columbia did not have a hood, or thumb holes, or cover my butt and I could only zip it when I didn’t feel like breathing. This meets and exceeds all expectations. It is lighter and warmer than that coat too!!! I love this!! I told myself to buy it because it has free returns if I didn’t love it. I’m so so happy I bought it. I’m def not returning it. It may be the nicest coat I’ve ever had. :)

I have never ordered a jacket online before. Usually I have to try on the entire store before I find the right one. I read the comments on this jacket & jumped in & got it. So glad I did. I'm the type of person who doesn't like wearing long sleeves ever because I'm always hot. On occasion I do get cold & need a jacket in windy, chilly weather & evenings. This jacket is perfect. It's so light, but keeps you so warm. It's easy to pack for trips. Takes up very little room in a suitcase. The length is perfect in the sleeves & the back. It just covers my rear (I'm 5'5"). The added wrist/hand covers really keep your hands warm. I decided to get the hooded jacket this time. When I'm stuck in the rain it will be very convenient. Many winter jackets are bulky, heavy & uncomfortable. This jacket is stylish & keeps you warm without the bulk. I know it will keep me warm in the snow as well. 15-30 degree temp is what we get in the mountains in CA. This jacket was a great find. Don't let the lightness make you think that it won't keep you warm. I stood in front of a high power outdoor fan & felt no air coming through the jacket. I was toasty warm. It's the perfect winter jacket. I highly recommend it!

Heavenly Hooded Jacket-Size LargeI’m 5’3” curvy (155lbs), it is really hard to find a jacket that fits my top and bottom without looking like a box..this jacket fits perfectly. It’s really light and easy to move in. Because I am on The shorter side a lot of jackets that would hit someone who’s 5’5” right at the waist, hit me at the thigh which can be restricting but not with this jacket.Very happy with this jacket I bought the size L, and still have room for a sweater underneath. I returned 4 other jackets before I found the heavenly jacket.I attached a pic to show the beet red color..I personally think it’s a Brick red, has no orange or pink tone to it. I put it next to a true red dress and pink Sherpa sweater to just give you a better idea of the color.

My jacket arrived just in time for Christmas and I really do love it! I was looking for a basic warm jacket with a hood, but not necessarily with fur. This one is perfect. I wore it yesterday in 32 degrees and windy, with a light sweater and it was nice and toasty! I ordered a size up and glad I did.. for reference I'm 5'0, 175 lbs, busty and normally wear size L in tops and jackets. I got this in XL and the fit is just right. I have room to layer and it doesn't look bulky or too puffy. It's long enough to cover my butt and the sleeves are a bit long but that's fine. I like that the pockets have zippers. They are a good size and lined with fleece. Overall I recommend this jacket for the warmth, style and price it's a great purchase. Happy Holidays to all! :-)

Size 2XL runs big, size 1XL runs small . The jump from 1XL to a 2XL is too much I think it’s a design error

I love Columbia jackets and liked finding a deal on this one on Amazon. I’m 5’7” and about 175 lb and I got a medium. It just fits perfectly but I didn’t want it baggy so I like the fit. The Omni heat warms you up really quick (and also looks silvery cool). The thumb holes and great to keep the cold out when you’re wearing gloves and I’m glad it has the fuzzy hood. I’m very happy with this jacket

I live in Canada and i purchased this jacket to wear on days when the weather is between -5 to +5 and surprisingly this jacket is really warm. On windy days I wear thermals or a good sweater underneath and this jacket keeps me warm. I prefer this because I dont have to carry my heavy winter jacket everyday.

I'm not sure what it is about manufacturing these days, but I purchased this exact coat back in 2014 and loved it. The omni-heat lining really does add an extra layer of warmth, and I wore my jacket to Peru on the shortest, coldest day of the year. It performed wonderfully.This new version feels cheap(er). The zippers aren't as nice. The collar lining isn't as nice. Even the nylon exterior feels almost scratchy by comparison. I'm keeping this jacket as it still does the job, but really disappointed in Columbia for cutting corners.

I bought this jacket for fall. I am 5’10, 157lbs I love that the sleeves and thumb holes actually fit the length of my arms. I can fit a thick sweater underneath so I am sure it will take me into winter (well not the -32C days in Montreal) the hood has a furry lining too. I like that the back is longer then the front so when I bend it covers me.

I have other coats from this line so buying it was not a chance. The liner is amazing, you will not want to wear this in above freezing weather unless you are really prone to being uncomfortable when you are cold. The liner works amazingly well. you will want to layer (as is expected in winter) in much colder and windier weather.It's not water resistant, like at all. Expect to get wet if you are out for prolonged periods in heavy snow.

i bought this jacket from Columbia directly and from Amazon as well. to my surprise, they’re two different jackets! I first noticed bcuz the fit is slightly different. The differences btwn the two: one has metal zipper and one has cheap plastic zipper, the filler is better/thicker in one coat and not the other, they’re made in two different countries, and one is slightly looser fit than the other (i bought size medium), the logo stitching is a different shade of gray, and most importantly the price is $75 difference btwn the two. just to name a few. another reviewer also mentioned the decrease in quality from her original purchase so im also wondering why the difference. i can’t imagine it’s a knock off since it appears to be from the Columbia store (vs a third party seller) so is Columbia making a cheaper version for Amazon… ?
