Seems to work as advertised: 2sec soft start.
Seems to be great thus far, using it as a soft start scooter controller.The soft starter keeps the motor from sucking massive in-rush current and killing the battery. Works fine this far.I think I'm running south of 10 amps at 12 volts on the controller so it's significantly beneath the maximum rating barely gets warm so it should continue running for a while. Will update if I have issues.

Blew up in less than a minute
I bought this to drive a 24v motor for a ride on car I built with my daughter. We hooked it up and it was great. It allowed us to control the speed and seemed promising. All my wiring was isolated with heat shrinks and polarity wasn’t crossed. Within a minute of usage it blew up and black smoke came from the box. The current still goes through but it’s no longer controllable with this speed governor.

Works great ! Love the soft start feature too.It is on a timer running a pump in my greenhouse.
