I was super excited about this car seat, the feel of it felt luxurious and thought it was sturdy but after 6 days and only 3 uses it ripped! It’s about a 4 inch hole that happened around the seem area, I believe it was not stitched correctly and my dogs nails are always trimmed, they were not sharp to cause this. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

When I opened the package this came in it smelled so bad if chemicals. I have given it three days or so to air out and it still has such a strong smell to it that I won’t even put it in my car. I will be returning it and exploring other options. It is nice and seems to be durable but I can’t get over that awful smell.

While this item was easy to install it is not durable and easily tears. After just 1 ride the side zipper had torn from the fabric. 2 rides later the seams started coming apart. My dog is a good rider and not very active in the car so I would hate to think how easily this could fall apart for more active car riders. I would also add that while it is easy to install any movement losens the tightening straps so it does not stay in place.

We've taken our 120# Great Dane on a couple of short and longer (90 minute) rides since receiving this a few weeks ago. She is quite comfortable in the back seat with this cover in place, although she prefers to lay with her back against the back of the front seats (versus on the bench itself) so she uses this more like a hammock! I'll be interested to see just how long the straps that go around the front-seat headrests hold up since they are bearing almost all of her weight. One important feature is the mesh window to help her stay cool and give her more visibility. Our pup likes to use the top of the mesh window as a headrest, putting her chin on it, so, again, we'll see how long it holds up given how much weight she is applying in places that really weren't designed for that! The fabric seems to be thick enough to protect our leather interior and we haven't noticed any scratches or tears in the cover, even given our Dane's big nails. The chemical-smell upon arrival was quite strong, so we left it outside for 2 days to let it air out before putting it in the car. Installation was easy and it's easy to adjust the tightness of the straps on the four headrests: I've found you actually don't want it as-tight-as-possible so that the cover has enough extra room to be flattened down against all surfaces when the dog is in the car (tightening them too tight means there is too much strain on the fabric so it pulls). The holes for the seatbelt buckles don't line up with our buckles' locations, but we can still access one buckle to utilize our harness-tether (not the one that comes with the cover, we use the AllSafe Harness and tether instead since it is crash-tested). The seat cover has stayed in place thanks to the plastic rods that are tucked between the seatback/seat. Another feature I liked was that this unit has side-panels that can be zipped up and held upright using a tether that loops through the "oh-s$$$" bar above the window: we leave one of the side-panels zipped up and tethered at all times and only undo the other side to let the dog in and out: that's a pretty easy process that takes less than a minute. Two things I would like to see changed: offer this in more colors (black is too hot, grey is fine, but I'd like it to complement our tan-interior) and change the fabric and/or processing so the malodorous chemicals aren't used: I know those chemicals are still there even after we've aired-out the product, and I don't like having those in the tight, enclosed spaces of our car. Other than those two things, though, I'm glad I went with this particular product.

this cover works so well for my dog (S). Not only protection of the seat, but protection of the animals. With the zippers on the sides and strips that will hold the sides up, it helps to keep my dogs from jumping out when I am not ready for them. When I travel with my pups stopping at rest areas can be scary trying to get two dogs who really want to get out after a long ride. This cover gives me the control to get leashes on,. first.With 4 headrest loops keep them from falling to the floor, and climbing into the front seat which means piece of mind for me. My friend liked it so much I plan to buy one from Christmas as a gift since she transport her dogs and rescue dogs alot. So worth the money.

This product is clutch if you have a pup in your life! It keeps all the mud, dirty paws, and fur off your seats while also allowing you to securely tether your pup in for safety. We chose this one because it had the mesh opening so he could see through it and we could see him easily. The tethers are long enough that puppy can go to either window to catch some wind in his ears. I took it out after 2 weeks to clean it and so much sand and dirt came off it when I shook it, but my seats were pristine!

Though it is easy to install, clean, and water resistant, it is not well stitched for a larger dog. My dog, at only 55 pounds, jumped in the first trip and tore out the entire seam length that sits along the bottom, back of the seat. I am very good with a sewing machine, so I have re-stitched everything and i have not had a problem since, but if you have a larger dog like me, PLEASE reinforce your stitches BEFORE you load up your dog. It will save you a lot of grief.Oh, please note, I DID NOT contact customer service regarding this defect because it was just faster and easier to fix it myself so I did not have to go any time without the seat coverage I needed. I'm sure the company would have replaced the item with no hassle, but like I said, I pretty good with a sewing machine.

Just received this seat cover and I am very impressed! It was easy to adjust and instal. It fits my Subaru Outback perfectly. We have 3 dogs two of which as large dogs and they stay in it perfectly while protecting my seats and my doors! Would def buy this again and recommend it to anyone!

Excelente calidad, mejor de lo que esperaba, quedó perfecto en la SUV. Trae hasta cinturón de seguridad para el perro. Anteriormente habían comprado una en Petco mucho más cara y no tan buena. En la parte de abajo tiene un material antideslizante para que se quede como tú la pones.

tenemos un día de uso y se descosio la parte donde está el zipper con el resto del protector, esta de muy mala calidad las costuras

La había acomodado a mi carro y todo estaba perfecto hasta que mi perro se hizo pipí, a lo cual yo no me preocupé porque la descripción dice que es waterproof, pero la verdad la pipi si traspasó el artículo y paso a mi asiento el cual se mojó todo. NO ES WATERPROOF!!!

Es un ENORME problema que publiquen una sola imagen, de un solo color, de una sola textura, cuando existen varias opciones que te pueden enviar, es muy probable que esto corresponda a que son empaques sellados, pero deberian poner un ALERTA con MAYUSCULAS avisando al cliente compador. Donde señalen (No solo las caracteristicas pueden cambiar) sino ser muy especificos. La imagen donde seleccione mi compra, era color Beige.. y llego NEGRA... la textura NO corresponde a la de la imagen... NO señalo que es malo o que no es funcional... sino que lo que salta a la vista NO es lo publicado

Llego con una pequeña parte descosida y con los 3 usos que se han hecho ya se esta descosiendo de otros lados, el tamaño es bueno pero si es poco resistente en costura para un perro grande
