Use for 50 lb thrust trolling motor and on pressure water pumps.
I bought 2 of these. But, have bought 2 others with the same specs. I used two on 50 lb thrust trolling motor on a 9' dinghy....works fine for two years, enclosed battery box in every kind of weather sitting on in saltwater. Motor now in cut down to 18" of the shaft, took off the Motorcraft controls, switch died. Made a nice teak tiller. Use this twice times a day 365 days.*****I had a Jabsco Parmax plus 4 gpm water pump (switch died after 1 year), but thought it was a goner. I cut the lines automatic switch and made direct lines to the motor...it works fine! I used the SPEED CONTROLLER, power lines in and sent the output to the pump. Nice the knob/potentiometer harness has slip on connectors to FWD/REV to feed through holes. Controller needs to be close to knob and switch is short.... unless you are good at splicing tiny wires for longer runs. The faucet should be open or your water line might burst.....You can save water running at 50% flow or don't like to blast your faucet. The knob has an detent, click for OFF, powered off.

Not a good design.
Digital display is mounted to the unit. No way to mount it to a panel. Does not make sense!
