Yugo M48 Cleaning Rod 14.5 inches

I used this for my Yugo M48A and it fits in the cleaning rod hole fine and screws in. It has some room to move in the hole but it doesn’t fall out which is good. The stripper clips work well too and feed normally.

Fit and screwed in as if original.

My Ankara pattern kar 98 was missing it's cleaning rod, sadly this one is too short to thread into the socket.

This cleaning rod is not a good fit for a Model 1895 Chilean Mauser. This cleaning rod is thinner than the original with longer threaded end. The tip that holds the cleaning patch is threaded and can be removed from the rod, whereas the original rod is solid with a slot cut through to hold the patch, which is not removable. This rod also is painted black. Since stainless steel wasn't yet invented when my Mauser was manufactured, the original rod, although it looks like stainless steel, is bright metal with a high polish. The stripper clips are a nice addend, and appear to be well made.

Received my cleaning rod today ! Perfect fit for my Model 1924 Serbian Mauser! Couldn’t be happier. And the stripper clips were just a bonus. Thanks!

Items came in good shipping box along w stripper clips. Pls note, the cleaning rod WILL NOT fit into Yugo K98 rifle. Hole for Yugo rifle's cleaning rod is slimmer than this rod. However, the threads on this rod matches Yugo cleaning rod. If u buy this, it would be only a extension rod to ur original Yugo rod. This rod might fit ur Yugo only after u bore out extisting rod holder on Yugo rifle?

I have a Yugo M48 Mauser and this fits just fine. The original was bent and starting to rust. Works fine, not much else to say.
