Seems Solid
I used this as a mechanical battery Isolator that I installed on an old Pick-Up and a winch set up with a secondary battery. I installed 2ga wire to and from this and everything was a struggle to hook it up although it was mainly due to my not having enough hands. It has been working flawlessly doing as I set it up as an isolator/battery back up set up. Simple on and off is what I wanted. The switch is inside and works smoothly and has a positive switch click feel when it engages. I can not really comment on the weather resistance since it is inside mounted.

A nice solid, heavy duty battery disconnect switch
It's simple, but it seems well-made, sturdy, and has a nice smooth action. The lugs for connection are quite large, so expect to be using some really thick wire with it. It's really designed for use with heavy duty cable. My application didn't require quite that level of current capability, so I had to do some soldering to get a proper connector on the wire I used (6mm^2). Still, quite effective, and it looks and works well.

had trouble at first with test , but ok
I had trouble at first with testing if it worked. As long as my finger was touching the test prob, I got a current read on off setting. Confusing! But as soon as I kept my finger off the terminal no current read on OFF setting. seems well built only just installed it today.

Not for fiberglass boat
Bolts were about an inch too short to mount in battery compartment, because the fiberglass is too thick. Would work fine with metal. Had to find different bolts and nuts; not easy to do because of the unit's design. I'm not real pleased.

Good value for the money
Take your time installing. I make one suggestion on the design. I would redesign it so two wrenches could be used to lock the two nuts tightly against the battery cable lug to ensure you don't over-tighten the top nut.

Very heavy duty
This product was very well made. No idea it would be that nice when i bought it. Using this for my boat so i can shut everything down, when not in use. Very easy to mount. I USED screws instead of supplied bolts. Thanks for a well made product.

It’s not whats described in the listing
This is just an on and off switch not a 1,2,both,off switch like the description states. The box it can in even said 1,2,both and off, Its very frustrating!

Will do for now. Had to trim the terminals.
Not enough room for terminals of the rated capacity.

Pay for return shipping!!!
Turned out this wasn’t the item I could use and was very disappointed to find out I had to pay for the return shipping, especially when it wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the product details.

Not as advertised.
This item seems to ship as a simple on/off not as the 1-2-Both-Off switch listed.Basically just making it nothing special and the same as all the other switches.It's a real shame because the advertised product looks brilliant.
