CANIDAE Grain Free Pure Ancestral Diet, High Protein Freeze-Dried Raw Coated Dry Cat Food

If your cat doesn't want to eat this food, I have an easy way to convince them. In their dish, pour one layer of the food. Make sure the food does not pile up as it normally would when you fill their dish. Now take a can of tunafish that is packaged in water and pour some of that water over the food. Allow the food to soak up some of that water and then give that to your cat. Do this for a few days and your cat will accept the food without the tuna water.I believe it is the outer coating that the cats initially have issue with. Once they taste the inside of the kibble they enjoy it. My cat didn't want to eat it at first but now she actually asks for it.

My cat started throwing up every time she ate her dry food. I switched her to wet food twice a day but hated dealing with wet food first thing in the morning. (She’s a cat, which means if she wants to eat at 5 am, no one is getting any sleep until she gets fed!)Bought a small bag of this based on other reviews and am so glad I did! She loves it and actually doesn’t ask to eat until later than usual, so I feel like it fills her up better than her old food. No throwing up since, either. Very happy with this food

Our cats eat this with enthusiasm. They even prefer it over other foods made by this company. We are amazed by the ingredients. So much real meat!

There is nothing wrong with this food other than the fact that my cats don't like it. I hate to leave a bad review but clearly I am not the only one with this issue.My kitties normally eat Instinct raw kibble but due to an issue, I had to try a different brand. There are only a few raw kibble brands on Amazon. I'll be trying Merrick next time until the issues with Instinct have been resolved.I'd suggest this company reformulate and make this food tastier for cats. Clearly something is wrong with this food too.

My cat litter box was smelly for the whole week after eating it. My apartment was incredibly smelly that time and my cat fur was drier than before. Although my cat does not hate it (not like it), it does not really fit his stomach. I would say given the price I will give 3or 4 stars, but I will never buy this product again.

I have two large domestic breed cats that I only want the BEST for while working within a BUDGET...best food Ive found so far regarding proper carbs, price, grain free, nutrional value etc...seen other brands in line with this cost wayyyyy more.

I’ve been using this food for years and my cat loves it. I’ve also spoken to canidae reps numerous times about their quality control and am blown away. Definitely one of the few kibbles I trust.
