Faces & Places: Images in Applique

Great book. Very informative. I can't wait until I get the time to start the applique.

I TOOK A CLASS WITH CHARLOTTE WARR ANDERSEN AT THE INTERNATIONAL QUILT SHOW. HER WORK IS STUNNINGLY PRECISE, AND WHILE I AM UNLIKELY TO EVER ATTEMPT REVERSE APPLIQUE AGAIN, THIS REPRINT GIVES PRECISE DIRECTIONS ON HER PROCESS, BUT IS EASILY ADAPTABLE TO OTHER STYLES OF APPLIQUE & THREAD PAINTING.

Not as many "Faces" as I expected, but more Places quilt examples photos in the book.

Fabulous! This out of print book is full of detailed instructions. I am very fortunate to have it in my library of quilting books. I am about half way through reading this one and am gleaning a lot of information from it.

Amazing appliqué techniques

Ready to start applique quilting and needed more information and got it with these books.Thank you for sharing.I would recommend these books too friends.

It is an older book but being that all of her work is needle turn it has a few different tips than my other portrait quilt books. Good for my reference library.

Good resource book

This is more of a thick coffee table book. I returned it because it does not teach art work with fabric the layout of book is small crammed words ...lots of pics but no how tos

Ich hatte das Glück einen Kurs bei Charlotte machen zu können und habe mir danach das Buch gekauft. Gute Englischkenntnisse vorausgesetzt, kann man Schritt für Schritt in diese tolle Technik einsteigen, entweder nach eigenen Vorlagen oder mit den Musterbögen aus dem Buch. Es enthält viele schöne Fotos auch von anderen Quiltern und ist eine echte Bereicherung für dire Quiltbibliothek.
