LeapFrog LeapPad Platinum Gel Skin, Purple

I couldn't find this gel case anywhere. I looked at toy stores, chain stores, big box retailers, absolutely everywhere. And sure enough, here it was, waiting for us on Amazon. My daughter received the Leap Frog Platinum for Christmas as a gift. She absolutely loves it and tends to play with it daily. We were worried such a pricey toy would get wrecked, so we wanted a case. Perhaps it's too new, but the toy stores just don't carry the case. As soon as I saw it here I snapped it up. It fits securely onto the Leap Frog, it looks cute, and it keeps it safe. She's dropped it a few times and we don't cringe with fear. I think it almost bounced back, in a good, super hero way.

Luckily our LeapPad hasn't been dropped yet and we haven't had to put this to the test. It looks very nice, love the color. It was easy to put on and has holes in all the right places. I purchased a separate screen protector (would have been nice if one had been included with the gel skin). The gel skin gives the LeapPad a grippier feel, so hopefully will make it less prone to being dropped.

I have heard this is a must to protect your platinum leap pad. However I am disappointed with it dis coloring after 3 days of use.I don't know if this is common, it should not effect it's use.

I was happy to find a purple cover for the Leapfrog. My great-grandson wanted a purple tablet for Christmas!

The Gel backing has provided excellent protection for my 6 year old granddaughter's LeapPad Platinum. She a very active child she definitely needs this

Case was too hard. Apart from the fact that rubber cases create more a safety barrier, children prefer a more rubbery feel.

grand kids loved them, been working great. helps them hold on to there leap-pad a lot better.

I purchased this in Feb to fit my daughter's LeapFrog Platinum. I have no complaints. It went on well and stands up to my daughter's daily use,
