Love this album

Got 2 CD's as advertised, but poor quality CD cover

The recording and mastering is BAD. Both CDs had lots of scratches hence player wouldnt read many songs. The double cd jewel case is ABSOLUTE RUBBISH QUALITY 👎👎👎👎👎 both cds will not sit on the centre spindle in the case and remain loose floating in the jewel case thereby risking getting scratched. I am not impressed by this shoddy third grade cheap plastic case at all.

I grew up listening to Boney M.'s "Night flight to Venus" album, which is a favorite of mine. I discovered their "Christmas with Boney M." album from 2007 at my local library and decided to check it out. Were they still active? No. They had just put together a Christmas album with songs they had recorded at various stages and released it. I checked it out and really loved it, so I was fortunate enough to find this two disc compilation of Christmas music here."Feliz Navidad: A Wonderful Christmas," is a great compilation. All the songs are a joy to listen to and the group puts their own spin on them. The album has a mix of traditional carols and original material by the group. Songs like "Mary's Boy Child/Oh My Lord," (where they combined two songs from their "Christmas with Boney M." album), "Little Drummer Boy," and "Jingle Bells" are great to hear in a new form. They really put their own original takes on these songs here and I love it. Another one of my favorites is the "Calendar Song," where they basically just sing every single month of the year in order. It's quite funny. They also have different mixes of songs, such as "Jingle Bells" in a pop mix and reggae mix and "Christmas Medley" in a full length and radio version.Along with the Christmas songs, Boney M. have also included songs from their albums which are not Christmas songs, such as "Rivers of Babylon and "Heart of Gold" from the "Night flight to Venus" album. I really enjoy hearing some of these songs, like "Somewhere in the World," in which the music reminded me a lot of Electric Light Orchestra. Other favorites for me are "Exodus," "White Christmas," and "My Cherie Amour," which closes out the two-cd set. There really isn't a song here I don't like. I really like the vocals and harmonies here. It's nice to hear this group on compact disc as for years I only heard them on vinyl and cassette, so to have a clear and crisp recording of these songs along with ones that I grew up with is a real treat. I really like that they included these extra songs from their albums for variety. If you like Boney M. or just want to try some new Christmas music, give this one a chance. It's well worth it and is now one of my favorite Christmas albums.

Had to return the cd because although it arrived in a sealed case it only contained one cd instead of two.
