This table looks really stylish in my living room. A great choice. I'm happy with it. But it did arrive with a small dent in the metal frame.

Absolutely love this table it’s definitely not what it looks like in the pictures as it’s more green marble rather then grey but it’s knew that from the comments and it’s definitely a lovely one of a kind edition. I was worried it maybe not sturdy but it is and the gold bars are shiny gold which is what I was looking for.

The media could not be loaded.  VIDEO REVIEW press see more. This is a simple yet classic design that looks effortlessly chic.The marble effect tempered glass surface looks effective. It looks convincingly realistic. The texture is similar to frosted glass. Reassuringly this comes with a removable sticker stating: TEMPERED GLASS BS6206A. This is the required British Standard for safety glass and the A denotes the highest performance grade. As a father of three idiots it comforts me to know this. It is simple enough to peel this off without leaving residue. It is stuck to the top. I think it should be stuck to the bottom of the glass as I would have preferred to leave it on for reference.The glass sits on four sucker cups. This allows for an uninterrupted surface free of screws or clasps and the like. When I saw them I thought it looked a bit naff, but so realised the reasoning. And to be honest, they work extremely well. I can lift up the whole table using just the glass (don't try this at home though) and it remains secure.The base is gold effect which adds to the opulent and elegant design. It has four legs, each with a rubber foot for gripping to hard flooring. The legs continue along the floor and meet in a cross in the centre. This design is clever as it hides all the screws from sight.There is no framing under the table top.I found this coffee table easy to clean. Polishing the gold effect stand and a mild detergent and warm water for the surface.It came flat packed. The instructions were simple to follow and set out using pictograms. They are clear and concise.Assembly is extremely easy. In actual fact, I would say the instructions are not really required as it is so simple to assemble. The instructions give an estimate of half an hour to assemble. I'm not bragging but it took me five minutes. It was more difficult to remove it from the box than build it. An allan key is provided but you will require a small Phillips screwdriver for four screws.It arrived very well packaged. A slimline but large box with polystyrene.Please see my video review attached.

This is a well-made, 80 cm diameter, occasional table that arrived impeccably packed in a polystyrene-type packing & cardboard with the tempered glass top separately boxed & bubble-wrapped inside for safe transit.ooOoo~ MOVIAN~ ALIMA~ ROUND OCCASIONAL TABLECOLOUR : WHITE & GREY MARBLE EFFECT with SHINY GOLD COLOURED, CROSSED METAL-TYPE BASE‘Made in China’ooOooEasy to assemble, as per the pictorial instructions using the hexagonal bolts & key supplied, it stands around 45 cm tall with a diameter of 80 cm, so is large enough to be useful yet not too imposing in a main room, in my opinion.It stands on four x 2 cm square, black coloured, solid rubber-type (non-adjustable) ‘feet’.The glass top is held in place on the circular, crossed base unit with clear suction pads which, due to the weight of the top, do hold it securely. So much so that care needs to be taken in aligning the top on the base, as once in place, it is very tricky to separate again (as I found out the first time)!To my eye, a matte, silver coloured base rather than the shiny gold finish would perhaps blend better with the grey marble effect glass top, but it is a solid and useful addition to the sitting room that will be especially handy over the festive season.There are no use & care instructions supplied with the item, but it easily dusts off with a soft cloth, in my experience.The ‘tempered glass’ sticker on the top easily peels away, if required, and does not leave any sticky residue, also in my experience (images below refer).13 images attached

Overall I do like this table. It was very easy to assemble, and the marble effect top looks great. The size of the table too is impressive and it works well both indoors and outdoors as a side table, as it is pretty tall compared to a coffee table. However. there are two pretty big flaws in this product which stop me from giving this a full 5 stars.The first is the quality of the metal frame which hold the table. The metal seems thin and cheap compared to the table top, and already some marks and minor scratches have started to appear making it look a little older and more run down than it actually is. The second issue I have with it is that the table top is held on by 3 suckers only....no screws...no bolts....3 suckers only. This really does feel like a cost cutting exercise and makes the table somewhat flimsy and unsafe if you have small children around who might bang in to it, as the top can come off quite easily with some force applied to it.I also think a second shelf on this table would have been a welcome addition, as you could then use it as a room centrepiece as opposed to a side table. As it is, while the top looks great, the rest of the table is somewhat "budget" and as such I can only give it 3 stars.
