I spent twenty years in the food business and know stainless. The wife's always liked non-stick; so we've gone with her preference, instead.Bought this pan for the mother-in-law who's always used single-ply Teflon pans until the coating's so burned and fried that the only thing the pan is good for is burning whatever's in it. I took a singular pleasure in throwing out two pans that weren't even good for recycling (good for nothing).I love the Frigidaire pan. It heats evenly, cooks exceptionally well on low-end heat and if you know what you're doing, you won't burn what's in the pan -- even on gas. Food stirs well and lifts without sticking.The carry-handle is useful and overall, the weight isn't too bad. The lid is well-made and a nice add-on.The pan cleans up very nicely (don't forget to season the pan before first use) and as long as you don't flood cold water into it -hot- after being on the burner, it won't warp. This is a very nice pan and as my wife periodically retires our non-stick(s), I will be buying one of these. My only complaint is that Frigidaire doesn't offer a full (12, 10, 8 inch) matched set.There is no reason to spend the big money and time searching for the "forever" non-stick Teflon pan. It doesn't exist. Buy this item one time and it'll be all you'll ever need.

Ordered this stainless steel saucepan to replace a chipping Nordicware PTFE non-stick one that was at the end of its lifetime. My other pot would chip noticeable pieces of teflon into my meals. And though non-toxic, and pass-through safe, I did not feel comfortable having plastic in my food every day. Even coming out of the dishwasher, if I ran a paper towel or cloth over the rim of the pan, rust residue would be present every time. It was well overdue for a replacement.After one month one of owning this saucepan, here are my following notes:+Pros:- Dishwasher safe and durable. I wash this pan once a day in the dishwasher on normal settings, and no noticeable wear and tear or dulling has taken place.- Retains heat well, and if used as a serving dish after cooking, the warmth from the pan's bottom and sides can be felt on any surface it comes into contact with for 15-20 minutes afterward.+Cons:- None at this time. But do be careful with using the proper cooking tools, as the surface is prone to scratches if using metal spatulas and spoons with this item.

This is a great pan. My criteria for this cookware was 12" size, stainless steel, works with induction stove, glass lid. This pan is great in all those categories. Many fry pans don't come with a glass lid. If you don't have glass lids on your cookware, you don't know what you are missing. Being able to see how something is cooking without lifting the lid is great! This pan has a great finish, the handle is strong and comfortable and the second handle is a strong large loop. Very nice. Easy to clean and heats evenly.

I enjoy this pan for meal preparation, it’s versatile and easy to clean.

I purchased this pan specifically to use over my camp stove for cooking items that are typically too offensive to cook inside modern day tight-envelope houses. Somebody once said, you can't get the brown in food with non-stick pans, and I still believe them. This pan is fantastic for pan-frying fish, onions, burgers, chicken... you know, food. It's deep enough that it will likely also be good for smaller batches of stews, chilis, soups, curries (another reason I purchased it as I was looking for a sort of do-it-all pan for my camp stove).

Only used it a couple times so far, but this has so far been a fantastic purchase. I moved into a new place with a ceramic cooktop as opposed to the gas burners I had before. Using cast iron is less of an option as I don't want to risk scratching or cracking the surface, but I still needed a pan that could get hot enough to sear steaks or salmon.This works perfectly for that purpose. I add a little avocado oil to keep the pan stick-free, but not enough that I can't make a nice reduction afterwards. Its heavy but not so heavy that I worry about damaging the cooktop. Super easy to clean, I could use this every day if I needed to.

I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing, but went ahead and purchased since there were more good vs bad. I read one review that said it was horrible to clean. I have to wonder if they followed the instructions that came with the pan! My very first use of the pan was eggs. I wish I would of taken a picture before and after.. the pan was coated with scrambled eggs! I did as the instructions said. My photo is what the pan looks like after a cleaning.. so far it’s not a bad pan and very satisfied with it..

Great addition to my kitchen. I highly recommend this product.
