Unreliable
The lights shorted out when I was screwing in the bulbs. I had to find a supplier in town and get light strands because they were due to be hung the following day. When I got the stands from the (commercial) supplier here in town, the wiring was much higher quality (thicker copper) and not much more cost. I would not recommend these light strands and will be returning.

Great light stings replacing 20+ years of hassles!
Great light strings! I thought they were a heavier gauge than my old multiple ones but I'm not sure, could be. These are very well made and easy to handle with no load issues at all. The best part was how easy the bulbs made secure contact without having to play with them or crank them in over tightened. Every bulb went in easy and powered on 100%.

The light strings are commercial grade & a great price.
I like the commercial grade wiring. My old sets were 12' long & 21 yrs. old. I ordered a 50' set after seeing this one.Pkg. Arrived in excellent condition & timely.I will use this string to line the edge of the sidewalks & boxes in gront of the porch & garage with red.I haven't plugged them in or put bulbs in, yet but, expect them to light the way!

Exactly what we wanted. My husband prefers this type of light over the strings that have to be replaced each year. Ours had to be replaced after the Hurricane. You have to also order the lights which thanks to Amazon they are easy to find in multiple colors.

Low quality
Several of the sockets don’t work.

Gooey Plastic after less than a year
The plastic has that gooey feeling after less than a year which means it is probably low quality plastic. I have 10 year old light strands that have never had that gooey plastic and are just starting to crack and break. Time will tell if they hold up.

Have spare plugs and receptacles , I can custom cut the cord to length.
