Kiss Ruby Kisses Matte Lipstick Red Mangrove (3ml)

it's decent for a cheap black lipstick if you're on a budget. I think it works fine but it doesn't last too long and doesn't have the best coverage. if you want one of quality that lasts longer you're better off saving your money to get that instead. it's also marketed as matte but it rubs off on everything and doesn't dry up. you need to actually add a few layers of it to have enough opacity to look okay.

I bought this lipstick a few years ago (don't remember that....LOL) & then just again purchased again recently.. I read online that it was a good "dupe" for a lipstick that I love (Urban Decay BackTalk) so I decided to give it a try.. First of all the color isn't a color that I would call a dupe or similar to the Urban Decay lipstick, it has more of a tan overall color/look to it which you can see more on my hand.. The BackTalk lipstick is more of a pink overtone which suits me better.. It might be hard to see in the pictures but the hand swatches are very different but of course colors come out different on the lips.. NEXT.... this lipstick lasts for a while, because its a matte one (few hours for me because I don't do much eating or drinking alot) & I always find myself reapplying lipstick through the day anyway.. NEXT... I didn't find this lipstick very moisturizing... My lips are usually very dry & I have to use a lip balm/lip conditioner before I put on my lipstick & that helps the lipstick be a bit more moisturizing especially if its a matte one.. I like the matte lipsticks because they stay on a bit longer, don't usually find them very moisturizing.. If you're looking for moisturizing lipsticks them go for creamier lipsticks, those are usually good.. Overall this lipstick was good but I didn't like the color (was too tan & I have cool undertone w/pink highlights) but lasts good & the price is definitely a value if you can find some good colors.. I was totally satisfied with this lipstick, but when I went to order through Matie hi good no longer purchase it so I was very sauce not satisfied of the discontinuance of this product

I literally have to reapply this every 5 minutes and it keeps making my lips crusty.

It was alright for the low price, doesn't moisturize to good.

My daughter and I are dressing as peacocks for Halloween 2018 and I thought I'd give the Ruby Kisses Ultra Matte Super Rich Lipstick a try. It arrived in time for us to attend an early Halloween party. Any misgivings I had about it were quickly discarded. This particular lipstick went on easily, the color is very vibrant, and it wears very well; we didn't have to refresh lipstick until after we'd been eating and drinking for quite a bit. Even then, the lipstick was still noticeable, though slightly worn. (My daughter is very conscious of makeup, though, and wanted a refresher.) After reapplying around 6:30, we had to use a wet paper towel to get it off her lips at 9 p.m.I can't speak for whether or not it dries out the lips, as I didn't make an effort to stay hydrated that day and my lips were a bit dry even before I applied the lipstick. I didn't feel like it sucked out any more moisture than any other lipstick I've used.It's exactly what I wanted for the costume and several of my friends commented on the quality of it, all of us noting that we'd consider it for everyday wear (or I would if I were cool like that).

I have been searching for the perfect brown lipstick for awhile now and have not been able to find that one perfect shade yet. I tried the brown sugar color out because the price was right and it looked like a nice brown color in the picture. sadly, I really do not like this color. It is brown but it's too light and more of a cool mocha color than the rich brown I was hoping for. There is absolutely no depth to the color.In the picture it looks like it has pink tones which I was hoping for, but it does not appear that way on my lips. It has a sort of mauve tint. To be fair, I am pretty pale and this might be a nice nude color for someone with a different skin tone than mine. I was disappointed. The lipstick itself is ok, good for the price. It is pretty creamy for a nude color. It went on ok, it was hard to evenly apply it. It seems to last for a while and has no weird taste or anything. My one other pet peeve which does not affect this review- It has a thin cap, so it is hard to take the cap off without scraping the lipstick. This is a good lipstick to try if your experimenting with new colors. Like others have said, read through the reviews to find out the true colors.

The perfect baby pink flattering to pale skin which I have struggled to find. It is very definately matte. Long lasting it can be a bit drying but works well with a lip balm underneath.

Love the colour and texture,but every single one I've had, the lipstick breaks. And the protective casing shatters. YAWN!

Beautiful colour, only thing is it was a little bit sticky so when I used it one day on dry lips the stick snapped at the base! But I can still use it and love it, I just have to make sure there is a very thin base layer of lip balm before applying!
