I had purchased the same book many many years which had come apart due to poor binding and continued use. Therefore went in for replacement

THIS BOOK SUITS THE NEED OF AMERICAN CROSSWORD SOLVER NOT THE BRITISH OR INDIAN CROSSWORD AFICIONADOS .IF YOU SUBSCRIBE NYT DAILY THIS BOOK WOULD BE OF IMMENSE HELP.BUT SUBSCRIBERS OF THE TELEGRAPH AND TOI MAY NOT EXTRACT MUCH HELP. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AMERICAN AND BRITISH ENGLISH DAILY IS VERY STRIKING IN THE CROSSWORD PUZZLE SECTION.

The collection is good but not infallible. It makes you feel exasperated or elated depending on what your are looking for.

The dictionary is good, my only negative is I thought the print was a little larger. My fault for not investigating properly.

I ordered item to replace a rather well used tatty dictionary,and although not quite what i expected,it was far better than than one i already had,would recommend to all crossword fans.

I bought this Crossword Dictionary for my dad as a gift, as he does a lot of crosswords. He gets stuck on some clues and this has been an ideal helper for him. It's small and compact and easy to store along with his newspapers to use and easy to take with him when he travels. He loves it and would recommend it to all crossword lovers out there.

Comprehensive with a American bias for UK crossworders.The layout could be better if there was a deeper left page margin, do you don't have to bend the book to read it

This book is a great asset to anyone who enjoys crosswords. You'll find words here not given elsewhere.I bought the paperback version which has very small print. If used a great deal it will not last very long. Perhaps I should have opted for the hardback. Anyway for the price it's very good value.
