Favorite Napkins
These are favorite napkins and I bought them for everyday use, as well as for ourThanksgiving table. They arrived quickly and in excellent condition, the dye lots consistent between the three packages. I washed them before using and the orange is beautiful, soft yet not dull. Admittedly, this was more than I wanted to pay, but the quality is there, and as I've always used cloth napkins for our family, I can spot a good one. I like linen, cotton, or a linen/cotton blend for napkins because they not only look great, they launder well. I've found that polyester tends to hold on to greasy stains even after laundering where natural fibers don't. Restaurants often use polyester, but they also have access to commercial laundering and detergents, so stains aren't as much of an issue for them. I also like a mitered corner. As a seamstress, I know how an item is finished can make a a big difference in its over all effect, and the extra time it takes to make a mitered corner costs more. It makes for a smoother, neater looking napkin with a professional finish. Fabric folded over on itself to form a corner often looks lumpy and uneven and often has loose threads. As for ironing these, I don't. I just don't have that many heartbeats left. My millennial daughter has convinced me to go for simplicity and that a slightly relaxed, rumpled effect on my table actually looks pretty good. If we're told the Queen is coming for dinner, I'll iron them. So far, in over 40 years of frequent entertaining of family and friends around our table, she hasn't showed up yet. If she ever does, I think she'll like these napkins.

Used
The first pack arrived used, with food actually still present (so gross) but I tried another set because I thought it was unlikely to receive another used set. The second pack also had food stains and pet hair. This is disgusting and I am not ordering another replacement. I cannot speak about the quality of these napkins as I tried to touch them as little as possible, but the quality control is completely unacceptable.

Never, have I ever!
Seriously, I know what you're thinking, "Who really needs $32 imported cloth napkins?" The answer is, "You do, my friend!" The color, softness, and fabrics heft are all unexpectedly luxe. Run, don't walk to pick up these swatches of glory, and the good news is that for $2 more you can buy the large 20" size. I'm buying those next! Enjoy!

Pretty colors and overall OK product. Very lightweight.
Nice napkins. Linen tends to wrinkle, so I expected these to be similar. They are very lightweight! Almost sheer. Not what I usually like in a dinner napkin. I would not use for a formal setting (unless maybe ironed). Nothing like commercial dinner napkins. I use these as everyday napkins to replace paper ones. They wash and dry well. Surged sewn edges are nice. OK with overall purchase but they are not great quality if you’re looking for moderate weight napkins.

Perfection!
I just got these napkins in and let me just say that I’m OBSESSED. I was eyeballing some “flax linen napkins” from Williams Sonoma, but $30 PER napkin seemed a little crazy to me, so I took the plunge and ordered these instead, and they are absolutely perfect.Oh, and also they smelled amazing when I took them out of the bag. Like lavender I think? Regardless, it was quite lovely.

Love the cheerful coral color and the feel of the linen.
I love the color. I have downsized and these add a spark of color to the dining table. I have passed my formal China on to my daughter and entertain more casually so these are perfect.

Very authentic French, euro vibe
Disregard the low stars rating. They asked stupid rating questions. No, these are not “wrinkle resistant” -like an Armani suit, wrinkles are part of their charm. You could iron them... but who has time? They are not super absorbent or stain resistant either. Why would they be?! They’re a nice linen cotton blend -not a cheap paper towel. For me, these are the perfect French country causal, all natural look I wanted.

These are lovely linen napkins
I don't mind washing and ironing linen napkins when they are this beautiful. I like to make a table nice even if the meal is simple. Yes, I bought some placemats from a different source with a complementary color. The linen itself is of good quality. I hope people know not to expect linen to be wrinkle-free unless you iron it!
