Hongdian 6013 Matte Black Fine Nib Fountain Pen with Metal Box Titanium Black Gift Pen Set

I am VERY impressed. I love the pleasure and satisfaction of writing, inking and well... collecting fountain pens... I have like 34 being the Visconti Vertigo my top tier.... Yesterday I bought on Amazon for US$18 the "Hongdian 6013 Matte Black" with F Nib, just because the picture looked amazing and it is made of full metal... Never heard about the brand but the price was right... I am totally amazed by the quality!! It is truly on the $120 spectrum of brand-name pens! It is very very well made, heavy, solid, inviting to write.... The nib is surprisingly smooth, well aligned from every angle and the ink flow is flawless!!

I can not believe the quality of this pen for the price. Pictures are not adequate. Writes beautifully right out of the box. Very sturdy, springy clip. Nice heft without being too heavy. Really solid click when capping or uncapping. Two slight reservations. It’s slightly back-heavy when posted. I wouldn’t draw or write for long periods with it posted. And the soft, rubberized finish on the body may become sheeny or brittle over time, because I plan to use this pen as often as I can. The fude nib is excellent and you get a wide variety of line widths, including a very fine line when holding it backwards. It just looks, feels, and woks like a much more expensive pen. I could see me buying several so I could have a range of ink colors in this kind of pen. If this had been my first pen purchase, it might have been my only one.

This pen looks and feels great. The knurled surface, the slight bulge in the tube, the weight *with the cap posted*. It has an excellent heft to it; you know it is there, but not so heavy you could not write for long periods of time. Unfortunately for me, the cap will not stay posted. I could not tell if it is supposed to post, but the cap definitely falls off after a few minutes use. If you don't write with the cap on, no big deal.As several people noted, this is much more of a medium width nib than a fine nib. The nib glides smoothly with zero scratching. There is an excellent deposit of ink.

This Hongdian fountain pen is an affordable one. It writes smoothly and I was able to buy 3 nibs in addition to the fude nib it came with. It have a very nice weight to it as well and no "skipping". It seems to be a pretty solid little pen and I am sure I will be purchasing another. A friend of mine who doesn't typically write with fountain pens borrowed this the other day and she liked it so much that she bought one as well. This is a great little pen here. The finish is good, it writes well (maybe didnt realize it came with a bent nib which is weird), but if you put a good quality ink it will be ok. The 3 stars is because of wight... the cap is really heavy so for gift is good but not for women, they love those kind of gifts but must not be quite heavy. If you only use in your office, it could be ok, but ti will be impractical if you want to bring it for travel.Internal system is good, so you can fill the ink easily, in general the price is affordable for what you buy.

I will talk about 1) package and delivery; 2) the good of this pen; 3) some minor flaws1) Package and DeliveryWell wrapped with bubble wraps. The case, as you can see, is a simple matte textual silver color metal box. The pen looks and feels so much nicer than the box that the box doesn't feel like the right match. But if this is the cost saving measure for giving me the awesome pen, then I say "please!" One star taken off for "Giftable" because of the case.2) The Good of This PenThe actual product looks as advertised, and even feels as advertised. Beautiful and hefty describe it well. I got the one with "Fine Nip," which writes a bit too wide for my taste. But I really don't have much to say except praises, and too much praise would make me seem fake. I will therefore stop here.3) Some Minor FlawsFirst of all, when I start writing and put the pen cap to the end of the pen, the cap doesn't stay firmly attached. It loosened up for a few times and I need to really force it tight. I wish the mechanism is done better.Then, the weight, although feels nice, can fall on the heavy side. I am an adult male with regular exercise routine, and this pen feels heavy by just a bit. This is especially true when I put the pen cap to the end, which gives the end of the pen more weight and makes it more uncomfortable to write. Admittedly, I can leave cap on the table and solve the issue. This is why I find it a minor flaw rather than something major.

It is a good performer. Smooth and sleek and writes nicely.

The textures on this thing are great. The cap is beefy as heck, with a spring hinge on the clip. The cap engages well; saw some comments that it took a lot of effort to close without it falling out. It seems to seat well without a huge effort. Writes smoothly.

This is my new favourite pen.

Well-made and good looking pen, a little smaller and lighter than Faber Castel's e-Motion, but the same concept and pretty similar.

詳細に字幅の記載が無く、商品画像を見て細字辺りが来るのかなと思いきや、まさかの美工筆タイプでした。軸に関してはキャップや首軸、軸尻に斜めのヘアライン加工がされており、胴体のローレットやねじ切りなど綺麗に仕上がっていて値段の割にそこそこの高級感がありますが、ニブは中華万年筆特有のキズまみれで少し残念でした。コンバーター付属なので美工筆で万年筆を始めたい方にはオススメの1本になると思います。
