Almost perfect (but read the 7/20/15 edit)
I've been obsessed with grinders lately, having bought four in the last few weeks, including three Santa Cruz Shredders (large 4-piece, small 4-piece, and mini 2-piece). This morning the large SCS was easily my favorite grinder. Not anymore. This one is better. Much better.EDIT (7/17/15): In a few days I'll have a mini (40 mm) SCS 4-piece, a 56 mm Diamond Grind 5-piece, and a 3.5" Space Case 2-piece. If any of those grinders unseat this one as my favorite grinder, I will update. I'm really looking forward to trying all of them, but I'm especially looking forward to trying the 5-piece.The bottom three parts of this small blue grinder seem to be absolutely perfect. However, the top piece has a couple problems. First, there is a small scratch; not a big deal. But the second problem is a little troublesome. Unlike my large SCS, this grinder is not quite as smooth as butter when in use. At first I thought there may be a defect, but upon further review the call on the field has been reversed. I have now deemed that this imperfection is actually part of the design, rather than a defect. On the exterior of the lower part of the lid (the part my finger and thumb contact in the picture), there are tiny vertical grooves all the way around, which are too small to see in my picture. On my large SCS, these tiny grooves are horizontal. On my mini SCS, there are no grooves. All three designs feel considerably different, with horizontal grooves (large) being the best by far, no grooves (mini) being the second best design, and vertical grooves (the small grinder I'm reviewing here) being easily the least desirable. If this grinder had horizontal grooves around that part, instead of vertical grooves, the grinder would be perfect. It's really a shame that SCS chose to decorate this one (or this size) with vertical grooves on that part, instead of horizontal grooves. When you have three different SCS grinders (like I do), and the grooves on this part of each grinder are oriented differently (or don't exist), it's not hard to figure out that horizontal grooves make an infinitely smoother grinder than either vertical grooves or no grooves. Consequently, I can't figure out why these grooves are anything but horizontal. I would really like to have a different top piece for this grinder, with horizontal grooves instead of vertical ones.Other than that (and the small scratch), this thing seems perfect so far. And I think I mean that literally, too. Everything below the top piece is perfect; even compared to my large SCS, which is pretty amazing itself. It's so much easier to thread and unthread both the kief compartment and the storage compartment. I really love the extra deep storage compartment, too, which is deeper than the storage compartment on the large SCS. The size is almost perfect, too, particularly for hands that have lost a lot of feeling, strength, and coordination (like my hands).I want to add that EZVAPES did a great job. 5 stars. My order arrived four days after I ordered it. (I was hoping for two days, but you can't bitch about four days.) The two grinders were both wrapped in bubble wrap, and packed in packing peanuts. The package also contained an EZVAPES sticker, a little postcard kind of thingy to encourage me to write a review (which I had already done by the time I saw the postcard), a card with a coupon code for $20 off any order of over $100, an SCS kief scraper, and my invoice. If or when I buy more equipment carried by EZVAPES, I will almost certainly buy from them; particularly if it comes down to being a choice between EZVAPES and The Other Side Vapes. (EDIT: I already ordered a few more grinders from EZVAPES, less than a week after receiving my first order from EZVAPES.)I also bought a mini 2-piece (purple) SCS from EZVAPES on this order. I will probably review it, too. (Spoiler: It's too small for anyone whose hand function has been compromised. But I knew that before I bought it. To me it feels about like trying to grind with two magnetized quarters (coins). I mostly only bought the mini 2-piece because it cost $15. I do like SCS's purple color more in person than in pictures, though. I think I might like my small blue 4-piece grinder a little more if it was purple.)There is one thing that bothers me about EZVAPES. I ordered these two grinders on a Thursday morning, figuring/hoping the package would be processed and shipped that day (because doing so would take essentially no effort). That way, my order (2-day shipping, from only about 500 miles away) would have easily arrived on Saturday. However, judging by tracking updates, it appears EZVAPES waited until at least Friday afternoon to ship the grinders, which caused them to arrive two days later than I hoped (because USPS doesn't deliver on Sundays). A week later, same thing with a direct order of three other grinders (from the EZVAPES website). I don't expect them to process my order instantly or even immediately, but waiting 30 hours or so to process seems unnecessary.I don't know why this page now says this grinder is sold by Sunshine Widgets. I bought my grinder from this page, and this page used to say the grinder was sold by EZVAPES (because it IS sold by EZVAPES). So I have no idea why it now says Sunshine Widgets. Also, I have seen pages that show pictures of grinders with an EZVAPES watermark in the picture but are listed as being sold by a vendor other than EZVAPES. Not sure what's up with that. (EDIT: For some reason there is both a page saying this grinder is sold by EZVAPES and a page saying this grinder is sold by Sunshine Widgets. Not just the same make/model/color of grinder, but THIS grinder. Each page has the same three reviews, yet the prices are a few bucks different. That confuses me. Are EZVAPES and Sunshine Widgets the same vendor?)(EDIT: Here's the page where it says it's sold by Sunshine Widgets: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00U2Y6EUO/ref=ya_aw_oh_pii. Here's the page where it says it's sold by EZVAPES: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00QW0FFA2/ref=aw_wl_ov_dp_1_8?colid=2V4WLQTC6S7DG&coliid=I1QNKM3K203R2Q&vs=1. As I write this, each of those pages says there are 13 grinders left in stock.)I'd probably like this grinder even more if it was maybe 2.25" (or up to 2.5") in diameter, rather than 2.1". (EDIT: On second thought, 2.1" might be perfect for me. Not sure yet.)EDIT (7/20/15): The lid issue bugs me more than I expected it to. Everything else about this grinder is perfect. Everything. However, the HORRIBLE lid design lid has caused me to go back to using my large SCS, which is inferior to the small SCS in essentially every way except that it has a smooth-as-butter lid. So I've realized that apparently having a smooth lid is by far the most important grinder feature to me. Consequently, I am downgrading my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars, and I'm even considering lowering it to 3 stars (but probably won't).

Almost Perfect :)
I very much like the ease of how it can go through nugs, this is the type of grinder that you can stuff it then grind it and it won't have a problem. Why I gave it 4 stars is because the keef catcher gets clogged with keef over time so you have to clean that at times but when it's not clogged it catches keef like crazy. A great grinder and worth every cent.

Legit grinder but with color issue......
Does the intended job very well. My 4 piece unit is two different colors of blue....looks like it was Frankensteined together, but maybe that accounts for somewhat lower price than is usually asked for these grinders? Saw another review with same comment. Odd, but no big deal. Needs regular cleaning with iso soaked q-tip so it continues to work smoothly. It will gum up like any other grinder. Only 4 stars for color discrepancy.

It's just a normal grinder
Eh it's a regular grinder? Not sure what all the hype is about. Could get a much cheaper grinder for the same quality imo.

not worth the money
it is a great shredder.. but honestly what do you expect a grinder to accomplish for $50-70.?shame on me for falling for these amazing reviews. the shredder is fine, the price is not.

Meh... a little too expensive for what it does
I bought this because I thought I needed a premium grinder. It turns out I can’t tell much difference between this one and the $10 golden bell I had been using .

BEST GRINDER I'VE EVER HAD
My partner has had their grinder since they started smoking, and that was like 10 years ago. I had to get myself one, and it is the BEST grinder I've ever had! This thing grinds like a champ!
