The Witches' Wisdom Tarot (Deluxe Keepsake Edition): A 78-Card Deck and Guidebook

This is a beautifully produced deck: the strong box has a magnetic closure and is itself illustrated, with some spells printed inside. The deck comes in a jute bag and the guidebook has a cloth finish.Inside the guidebook, the presentation of the card interpretations is unusual, with a rather poetic description intended to function as an incantation, some keywords, a meaning and a spell.The cards themselves are very large, and the cardstock thick, so this is a very chunky deck. I have large hands and it was a stretch to hold them. Tricky to shuffle, and you couldn't do a large spread on a standard table.The artwork is stunning and the finish is matt; the cards are borderless. They really feel like oracle cards rather than a tarot. My personal preference is for easy-to-shuffle tarot decks in a smaller format, as they are more practical for frequent use.The guidebook echoes this, with the given meanings being rather oracle-like. I had to re-read some of the meanings to work put what they were actually saying. If I'm honest, I did find this a bit annoying.However. Despite those minor points, I do love this deck. The major arcana show the Fool's Journey in reverse, with some cards renamed. Well, many of them. But equivalences are specified in the guidebook. I like a deck that does something new.The minors, although varying quite a lot from traditional RWS meanings, are easy to read - again, like oracle cards. I don't think it will be difficult to remember the book meanings, as they link very nicely to the illustrations, and there is plenty of scope for intuitive reading.The overall premise, of the tarot connecting with the Earth, seems well realised in this deck. I'm looking forward to doing some readings with it and seeing how my understanding of it, and connection with it, grows. It's beautiful and intriguing - just what I love!

I have followed Danielle Barlow's work for some time. I have her cards for the 8 festivals and her oracle deck, so I was very excited to get this latest offering. I didn't know Phyliss Curot's work before this, but the writing in the book is beautiful, inspiring and full of magic. The cards are wonderful. I don't usually like people to mess with the traditional layout of the deck, but in this case I understand the reasoning and I'm willing to do the work involved in understanding a different numbering and labelling of the major arcana. It does make sense. These cards are full of beautiful images of magical beings, animals, plants and places. They stir the elements as you look at them, and are utterly perfect for any nature loving Earth worshipping hedgewitch who wants an inspiring treat to help her/him to remember themselves.

Wow...✨I am in love with the energy of this deck ... I watched some walk through’s of this deck prior to purchase.. But once you get it home, it’s so much better in your hand .. Card stock is fab .. and it’s just a stunning deck .. Yes they have changed the tarot system.. but from reading the book it makes sense.. Quality deck .. Fantastic Artwork.. comes in large sturdy box .. But I am using a tarot wrap for my cards and book will be stored on my shelf .. These big boxes I don’t have space to store .. This is a gorgeous witchy deck ...✨

Update: * I realise that I've just bought my 16th pack of these cards - as gifts for friends. I've only realised this as I'm back on the site to buy another two decks! And the friends I've bought it for have bought them as gifts for their friends.....! Read on for why....* If it's possible, this exceeds my expectations. I have bought some of Danielle's artwork before, having come across it in Chagford. I adore her work and this tarot pack, radically re-imagined, is exactly what is needed in these times. I sit with the images and am transported away - transformed by their messages, guidance and beauty. Thank you to these wonderful women for creating such an important tool for these times.

The design is very beautiful. The major arcana is not the same as the classic tarot decks, it is in another order, reversed i think, and the cards are named differently. The minor arcana has 4 suits: water, air, fire and earth instead of the classic cups, swords, wands and pentacles. It is a unique deck but requires study time. It is so beautiful that I am going to keep it and learn it. Worth every penny.

This deck is beautiful, it appeals to the Druid in me. I can say each card is beautiful (a couple might make you pause for a minute). The fact it comes with a little bag for the cards is awesome, the book is great with the creator of the cards telling you a little about herself and her path.The only thing that let this deck down was the fact that it had been preshuffled. I don’t know why the creator thought that would be a good idea...I had to put them back in order to go through them and then reshuffle. It must be a tarot reader thing...but it makes you automatically think someone’s been spreading their energy on your deck. I hope if she makes another deck she doesn’t do that again. Other than that the deck is great, card stock is amazing and it’s really great for a mass market deck.

WOW WHAT AN AMAZING PIECE OF ART. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE DECK. ITS SO UNIQUE. THE ARTIST HAS SWAPPED/REVERSED THE MAJOR ARCANAS, SO THE WORLD IS THE VERY FIRST CARD INSTEAD OF LAST, AND YOU WILL HAVE TO CHECK THE COURT CARDS TOO AS ITS DIFFERENT TOO. IT MADE IT ALL VERY INTERESTING. NOT HARD TO FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN THOUGH. ITS JUST USING COMMON SENSE. THE DECK IS STRONG AND MATTE FINISH. THE BOOK IS REALLY GOOD QUALITY AND INSIGHTFUL TOO. THE BOX IS STRONG. I LOVE HOW THE DECK COMES IN ITS LOVELY OWN POUCH, WHICH IS VERY WELL MADE. GOOD QUALITY. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS DECK FOR BEGINNERS, BUT I SURELY RECOMMEND IT FOR THOSE WITH YEARS OF EXPERINCE. WORTH THE MONEY ALL THE WAY. I have a lot of tarot cards, just got The Witches Wisdom Tarot Deluxe Edition - oh my goddess these cards are amazing. If you need to see them you can go to youtube and watch a flip through. They are tarot and oracle at the same time for myself. The artwork tells a story even before reading the guidebook which confirms probably what the card was saying to you. The artwork is that incredible. The whole kit wow just get it. The guidebook is amazing. Not a soft cover and not a hard cover right in between. The presentation of this whole kit is truly *you got to buy them*. I do collect special edition decks, and these are a must have. I am not paid to give this review. I am a true Tarot Reader, Witch, Medium etc ... These cards besides reading for yourself, reading for others what a treat they will have. The whole kit, the look, the omg Guidebook, the Tarot Cards *amazing*, the Box, the bag the tarot cards come in ... just buy it. It is worth every cent trust me. Happy Reading!

I have been working with this deck since I bought it. I haven't worked with tarot decks in many years, and this intrigued me. First, I have to say that the artwork is beautiful and Earth based. I love that. Second, I have found that the more I work with this deck, the more accurate I find the cards are. Once the cards were so specifically accurate that the drawing on the card was exactly like an animal that I have. Its answer was unambiguous.I highly recommend this deck for people who are drawn to Earth based spirituality and are looking for answers to both worldly and spiritual questions.

These are really calming and beautiful tarot cards that look like Oracle. They are larger but also comes in a beautiful cloth bag and box.

The artwork is amazing. Approach it as an oracle deck and you won't be disappointed.
