Very small but works just fine to power a small 120V to 12V transformer.
Although this is very small it will perform perfectly if you take your time making the connections. I have a tiny precision driver set, used to repair a Sony Walkman cassette player, and these were necessary due to the size of the hardware. I attached 18-gauge wire to the switch.

Simple and Easy to Work With
I was looking for an inline on/off switch to add to the power supply line of a neon sign in my basement man cave. The flimsy little thumbwheel switches from Home Depot weren't going to cut the mustard, so I went to Amazon for a look see. I found this switch, and it was just what the doctor ordered. It was big enough to easily work with, without having to have tiny hamster hands, and I like the screw terminals for wiring termination. The switch feels solid and has a positive click on/off. I also like the strain relief bars at each end that are designed to hold the cable, so that stress is not applied to the conductors themselves. I turned them upside down, as my cable was smaller in diameter than might normally be used with this switch. +100 for this switch.

Well made - No directions
Well made- feels like it will be durable. I'm not an electrician and am scared of electricity. This thing came without a word of instructions. It's a simple device, I know, but I have no experience. Initially I stripped the two wires on my lamp cord for about an inch and ran the two wires where they might go but it didn't work. Then I checked YouTube for instructions and learned that: one wire simply goes through the switch, without stripping; the other wire gets stripped and cut and both ends are wound around the two (very small) screws on the one side of the switch, in the direction that the screw tightens. (so your wire doesn't get unwound when you tighten the screws). It's very hard to work with those tiny screws! At first I worried about the hot wire and the ground referred to in the videos but there were only two identical-looking wires in my cord, both black, so I eventually decided to treat them as equal. I cut one and ran the other one through. The through wire had been stripped already so I wrapped it with electrical tape before running it through. IT WORKED! Instructions would have helped but I managed. The switch works very well and doesn't look cheap.

The BEST!!
My mom is almost blind from macular degeneration and also has poor sensation in her fingertips. She needs bright lighting in her living area. She really likes to be able to do as much for herself as possible … and these little lamp switches are great for that! My husband said they were pretty easy to install: unplug lamp cord from wall, cut the cord at the spot you want to install the switch, put each end into the opened switch as explained in the instructions, close it up and voila! it works. It is easy for my mom to find the switch on the lamp cord (we put them right at the base of the lamps, laying on the table top) and also to turn on or off with just a light push on the button. Can’t tell you what a big deal this is for her! Alexa-enabled stuff is so intrusive and requires making noise just to turn a lamp on or off.

Don't unscrew the terminal screws completely!
This is a pretty inexpensive solution to that table lamp that for some obscure reason was not fitted with a switch originally. There are no instructions provided but the connections are pretty self-evident: just four little screws for the terminals for the two wires. It all went swimmingly until I inadvertently unscrewed one of the terminal screws all the way. Don't do this! You will spend the next several hours trying to put it back as space is cramped and very hard to position the screw.
