Great basic unit
Ease of use is great. Similarities to original tape units a big plus.

Price is right- adequate for my purposes.
Gets the job done for saving old cassettes to usb drives but not real easy to use; mostly because of difficulty reading control markings and sparse instructions.I transferred only speech; I don’t think music would fare as well.

Very POOR QUALITY. USB / RECORD function DOES NOT WORK!
I do not know HOW this unit has such high review numbers and such "excellent" comments,... While this unit will play audio tapes, forget using battery power. It must have external supply to function correctly. And, as soon as you plug in a USB drive to record, the audio circuit takes a huge hit on quality and noise level. The included headphones are completely useless and sound like the old tin-can and string phone we made as kids. Overall, this isn't even worth $10. PITA! Glad returns are free. Don't waste your time on this one,... it isn't any better than any of the other cassette to USB/MP3 units I've tried. I've never found one that actually works, yet.

Convenient and easy to use.

beware
only works as a walkman...it ate two different sets of batteries in 20 minutes not 2 hours as listed. trying to record on to a thumbdrive is rough. i plugged unit in with plug that i had and as soon as you plug in the thumbdrive you get a loud hum. tried two different thumbdrives and two different plugs !!!
