INFERNAL CONTRAPTION!!! LEAKED IMMEDIATELY!!!
I ordered this product with a glimmer of hope, a twinkle in my eye, shielded safely behind a DIN 13 welding mask (as anyone competent to operate a TIG welder should have.) However, upon this arriving I noticed that the build quality was that of an object stowed in a Christmas cracker. However, I put my differences aside and thought it may still be functional (a whopping blunder!) Upon attaching this to a freshly filled Argon bottle, I switched on the flow and Argon billowed out of every threaded connection on the infernal contraption. I optimistically made up a glass of soapy water to test this for leaks before using it and soon realised that the soapy water was not necessary. This was a deeply troubling experience. My advice, unless you are looking to spend quite a bit of money on a flow meter type regulator, is purchase a high flow regulator (the type with 2 dials rather than one dial and a flow meter column) as these are much more reliable in lower price brackets.
