I read the reviews on this book even the negative ones. I have been programming with C# for a while but needed to brush up on interview questions for an interview that I was scheduled for. Even though you program in the language does not mean you use all of the features in the language. I took notes on what I needed to study. I did find the book useful. There was one thing that I believe was missing from this book is the loading of a page. Otherwise, the topics helped me study and look up when I needed a clearer clarification.

Nice book, actually has more information that's needed to clear a c# interview.

This book got me the job as software specialist at a bank. Lot of questions asked were from this book.What was in this interview that isnt covered here is writing some simple code on paper, in C# or simple SQL queries and simple database design.4 stars because design patterns were asked about in the interview but you need to read about them elswhere to understand them and no simple exercises contained.Try Head first Design patterns.

Great. To pass an interview as well as to get an overview of related technologies (.NET). It met my expectations.

Every C# programmer should have this in their collection.

Items are repeated, some items are flat wrong. Don't waste your money. Author is too chatty and presents a less than professional demeanor.

Some valuable info, but mostly repeated. I was hoping for some coding examples. Pretty weak.

Having read other interview oriented books, I would say this book is mediocre. Coverage of topics, depth of contents discussed are limited because of which the purpose as one stop solution for c# interview preparation is not achieved. You can use this book to get in to the mood of preparation.

Great overview for interviews, it is really great to see what material you have not recently covered. There seems to be more and more topics to cover as a .Net Developer and hard to remember all the areas to cover. This book advantage is that it is concise and will allow you to research what you have forgotten and need to cover.

This book only for fresher not for professional. If you are professional then please don't waste your money on this book.

It has some good set of questions and explanation about most of the concepts.
