Short but useful book and good information
Excellent and informative book. A short book with 64 pages, but excellent presentation of the entire SOHC Honda family. Some information rather common sense, but found some details that were useful. A lot of very useful pictures. I recommend for anyone shopping for or restoring one of these vintage bikes.

Interesting, but...
Having this in my CB400/4 library is good for completeness, but it is perhaps the least important and valuable book I have on this topic. It's quite a small book and rather sparse on information. Several of the photos are of bikes that have suffered from rather nasty paint jobs, etc., hardly good illustrations for collectors. The section on things to check/watch out for when buying one of these classic bikes was somewhat shallow, and omitted some of the major things that those of us who have owned one have encountered. Overall, the book left me wondering how well the author actually knew the subject.

I have no idea why this book is so well rated?
I bought thsi book with the hope of getting specific CB750 information and data such as in other "Buyer's Guide" books. Not so. I could have written this book in a weekend combining generic information what to look out for when buying a motorcycle. There is very little model-specific detail and no tables with model data etc. Don't waste your money like I did!!

Kind of ok....
Good stuff, but not nearly as complete or in depth as I had hoped - in fact it didn't include the bike I was most interested in - the Nighthawk 650.

Small, basic guide to the CB-series of bikes
First-off, this is a much smaller book than I was expecting. It would be a good beginners guide to the CB-series of bikes. I did learn a few things I did not know before, but there is nothing in-depth relating to these bikes.

This is a good informational book. If you own a bike that is amongst those in the book, it gives some very good information.

A good overview of the bikes. Skewed to UK prices and information. It is however a good overview of what to expect with the bike.
