Too soft, BUT GOOD SUPPORT
[edit]After my initial review the seller contacted me asking what I was using the hose for and how it could be improved or if they might have some other product that would work better. I explained my use case in great detail and also explained that I ended up buying a replacement already because I could not wait around with a non-functioning machine. I purchased this tubing to use with a laser cutter. I have had many different kinds of this tubing in the same ID and wall thickness and material in the past, and this was by far the softest, least capable tubing I have had in this size. After explaining this, they provided a refund for the full cost. I appreciate this, as this stuff is trash as far as any application I may have is concerned. The only application I can think of for it would be as a sort of rubbery-rope for tying things together, but I'm upping it to 3 stars as there may be cases where a very soft, easily crimped hose is actually preferred...maybe a DIY peristaltic pump?[/edit]This stuff is just too soft. Can't be used for suction at all. Gravity causes it to crimp itself even with 1-2PSI in it...and it isn't strong enough to trust with more than that. DON'T BUY.

as advertised, became brittle upon extended contact with StarSan solution.
Tubing worked well, was clean, worked as expected on brew day. I use a lot of silicone tubing in my day to day job and am familiar with the chemical compatibility of this material. I soaked the tubing in a standard Star San solution for a couple days ( i had forgotten about it) and when i went to get it it was brittle and fell apart which was unexpected. I expected the tubing to not degrade so severely. But the parts that were not soaked worked well, worked well in my mash turn.

Product works as it should! Choose your size wisely!
Product was as described. There are two sizes or options. Take a second to decide what application you are using this for. The thinner walled tubing has the same inner diameter but will not stretch over a larger sizes barb like the thicker walled one will. I knew what I was getting so I had I no issues with my order. If you are using this for hot wort transfers or anything potentially risky get the thicker walled size. Thinner walled is more appropriate for beer line cleaning.

Very flexible, not for any vacuum.
Seems to be good hose, but don't buy if you're needing something that can handle any kind of vacuum. I bought it for the flexibility, as I needed something to run from my Mishimoto catch can to a drain valve (I can't reach the drain spigot on the can where it is mounted), but when the motor is running the hose collapses flat. It's not a big deal, as I don't drain the can while it's running, but wanted to give any readers an idea of how "squishy" the hose is. I think it would be fine for most fluid applications, and appears that it would deal with warm fluids ok. I wouldn't do anything considered hot, though.

Good fit for Speidel Fermenter spigots
Nice package of tubing and hose clamps. Tubing is very thin and extremely flexible which could be a pro pr a con depending on the application. Worked great for gravity transfer from my Speidel Fermenter spigot - I also use some with a spare spigot on the top for a blow-off tube. You may want to avoid if you're using this for longer runs of tubing as it will kink easily.

Decent hose
Got this to make a smoke tester for my vehicles. Vinyl hoses were a little to prone to kinking. This is a decent silicone hose, definitely will not hold up to even a mild vacuum. This does kink under its own weight, but even running at just 2-3 PSI enough air and smoke get through to complete a test. If the line were liquid filled, I don't think the collapsing would be as much of an issue for pressurized applications.

Great customer service!
I am having some serious problems with this tubing exhibiting very irregular rotting like cracks followed by rupture. I am using it to transfer both hot and cold wort. Just before failure it exhibits white stress fractures resembling stretch marks on human skin. Timetable, two uses in 30 days.Update: seller contacted me and new tubing is on the way! Great customer service. Hopefully the new product will be good quality.

Thin walled and flimsy
I'm not impressed with this tubing. The walls are very thin compared to other silicone tubing I've used. This results in both a tendency to kink and loose fits around rigid tubing such as an auto siphon. Perhaps in pumping situations where it's clamped on it would be fine but I'm still an old-school homebrewer moving liquid with gravity so this tubing falls short. I'll go back to paying a bit more for thicker walled tubing.
