It works well, and seems to be of reasonable quality. It was detected right after install, and Windows 10 quickly loaded up all the relevant drivers. Speed is OK, in line with expectations for this model.My use case was for attaching to a Dell laptop motherboard that has been removed from the laptop. As such, it worked well due to this being the same Intel chip as originally shipped with the laptop. If you tried to put this inside a normal laptop the heatsink probably wouldn't fit - but then you shouldn't be looking for one with antennas anyways.I purchased this used, from Amazon Warehouse. The received package was taped shut, and parts were assembled together, but there was no significant signs of use.

Gigabyte Z390 m Gaming install instructions:Unplug the power completely from your Power Supply, install the Card, then reinstall the power cord then flip on your power switch, go into the bios and enable “LAN PXE Boot Option ROM” then boot into windows.Bluetooth range could be better. Support has not responded to my question, I found those instructions from a similar product on Amazon.Edit: Support responded very quickly to my question, but it was caught by spam filter. I already figured out my problem by the time I found it.

This thing reaches wap networks I didn’t know existed in my neighborhood. So it reaches more of the signal that’s out there thru the robust bdg antennas. As far as installation it’s very straight forward - if you have installed a 960 ssd M.2 then you can easily find your way around this thing. If this is a replacement or an new instal for this hardware performance will not be an issue. As far as customer service is concerned I had no reason to call them so not able to speak on that.

I added this to a Gigabyte Z390M Gaming motherboard and replaced my old PCI-e wifi card that had a heat sink that did not match my build. So far this one has worked great but I did have issues installing. It was not the fault of the card but more so of my motherboard. If you need a CNVI wifi card, this one is a great on for the price.

For those PC motherboards without built-in WiFi/Bluetooth but have the corresponding mini-PCIe M2 slot.

I have no idea how to directly respond to you. But the card was just the wrong one. There was not anything physically wrong with it. I have an MSI desktop motherboard has a turbo m.2 slot on it but I order the wrong part.

Cost effective, fast and works as expected. My workstation now has Bluetooth and WiFi capability!

Wi-Fi aspect works wonders on Gigabyte H370 HD3. Install was super easy and on windows 10 worked without installing any drivers. Never tested Bluetooth as I have no use for it though.

I've owned this for 6 months now and I was very happy with it but I've discovered an issue with the bluetooth performance. The sound quality is very good over bluetooth 5 but the range is appalling. I discovered this by accident because I've just returned a pair of bluetooth earphones that kept cutting out on zoom calls. I returned them thinking they were the problem.But the new pair are also doing it. And I noticed it when I pressed a button on my new earphones. I realised that my hand was blocking the signal from the antenna. My PC is less than 0.5m away under my desk and the antenna are at the back of the PC. This is terrible if just putting your hand up can block the signal! I bought this unit because I thought it would be neater having everything hidden at the back of the PC but it looks like I'm going to have to get a bluetooth dongle and have it plugged in at the front of my PC. It's definitely partly the earphones in combination because I have another set of over ear bluetooth headphones that I've had for over a year that never cut out.Shame because the Wifi is excellent, very stable and fast. The bluetooth however is a severe weakness.

This is a kit rather than a module. Please note, as vendor says, this particular part will only fit in a CNVI slot where your motherboard manufacturer says CNVI wifi slot, not a random M.2 slot. So check your MB manual before ordering.Like:nice kit comprising full and half height brackets, 2 x antennae, IPEX MHF4 pigtails installed, Intel CNVI RF companion module, heatsink (mounted), installation manual, and courtesy screwdriver. Nicely presented in a box with anti-static bags. Mini CD driver disc included if required. I like that this is an all-in-1 kit, not part of it.Dislike:haven't found anything yet. Will update if any problems.

Would prefer different antennas, due to them being quite large, but the product was easy to install and recognized by Windows 10

Works great Just had to turn the pc off and on at the power supplie/ Wall for the board to recognise the chip lol

Easy to fit comes with 2 different size brackets.. full size bracket and also compact one included....just plug and play...no driver works well
