E-outstanding US Socket 5PCS 2 Pins 15A/125V AC Panel Mount Power Outlet Industrial Plug Power Receptacle Black

It's hard to describe just how bad these are. Terrible and sloppy can't even come close to all the problems these have.Contacts are thin with poor mechanical build and loose fitting in body of connector. Contacts are rough cut (stamped) so badly that they have raised edges that scratched, gouged, and damaged all my plugs... see photos. 3 of 5 receptacles wouldn't even allow a plug to be inserted, while the other 2, with the plug inserted, the plug just fell out! I had to disassemble all receptacles just to clean up all the rough edges and realign the contacts so they would accept a plug correctly. Then I had to shim and hot-glue the back of the receptacles so the contacts wouldn't move around in the connector body! Very, very poor implemetaion in all respects!This is by far the worst Chinese product I've ever purchased on Amazon! Pure junk!Avoid if at all possible and look elsewhere for this type socket. Try finding some made in the USA... although they'll certainly come at a higher price!

Not heavy duty at all. Exactly what I needed though. The metal prongs in the back are the standard slip coupling size that is very common. They are thick enough to feel very confident using small appliances such as an electric razor, or radio, or clock etc... They are not of sufficient duty to operate say a 1000 watt microwave and a hairdryer at the same time. I believe they might perform the task, but IDK how long before heating up. A vacuum cleaner that is small should do well for short jobs, but do not put a 1200 watt vacuum cleaner on these, and then take off towards the living room shagg. I predict a mistake there. These plugs snap in well and are secure.

These worked great for about 6 months, but then they stopped making a reliable contact to the plug that was plugged into them. Really a pain, now I've got to take them apart and bend the metal so it makes a good contact again, but it probably won't last for more than a few insertions of the plug. Buy a better one.

Electrically they are exactly what I wanted, but, I wish I could have found how thick the panel needed to be to mount the plugs it.

Both conductors are narrow which will not accept a polarized plug, so are unusable for me.

Worthless ! Caution. This is a non polarized unit. Why this product is even made anymore is beyond my belief. Partly my fault for not paying attention to description of outlet to not allow for the large neutral side of a modern plug to be used.
