This board has the M2 slot for fast boot-up. Just great quality. I have built many computers and I respect MSI quality products. This board has been running for a year now with no problems. Easy install.

I am seeing a lot of 1 star reviews that are saying that this board does not work with 9th generation processors. I am currently using an i5-9400 on this board and it runs fine. I do not know if there has been a revision since the original reviews were put up, but mine has worked perfectly with my processor.

This is one of the rare MATX motherboard layout that gives me the option to install 2 PCIE cards without the video card covering the two PCIE-1X slots. I can install a wireless LAN PCIE card and a Firewire card, this is perfect!It fits the Corsair 220T case and the layout of the pins are good for cable management. I had a MSI motherboard so I'm familiar with the UEFI Bios, it is easy for me to navigate. Comes with 6 SATA Ports and 1 NVME slot is an added bonus. It only comes with 3 fan headers (1 CPU fan (PWM) and 2 System Fans (Non-PWM), I can buy a fan splitter for that. Overall, I'm really happy with this motherboard.

I bought this motherboard for my first PC build, and it works well.I paired it with a core i7 9700k and it booted without needing a BIOS update. (phew!) While setting up however, I found that there were a lacking number of fan connectors. One CPU fan header and only two case fan headers; no pump header to plug my AIO pump into. Also the RGB connector is in an awkward position, right up against PCIe devices you plan on putting in.TLDR: It's a pretty good motherboard for $70 for most people, but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on using a lot of case fans or an AIO liquid cooler.

I've been building PCs for over 20 years. The first MSi board I put into a machine must have been in 2003, and since then I've loved the mid-line MSi boards. They keep form and function in the game while maintaining the standards I expect for feeling comfortable putting their boards into client's machines. This particular board has a great UEFI for configuring BIOS, a great design, sleek chipset coolers, and easy to read jumper labels. This went into a mid-end gaming rig for a client of mine, and they've been loving it without issue.

First one was broken, but it was replaced quickly.

This is a great MOBO for the Buck, I had to reinstall the cmos by resetting it when I had to change the RAM.It was almost impossible to get support easily from MSI, a tedious process.

The MSI brand is notorious for providing gamers top tier quality and performance. The Interceptor DS B1, albeit not exactly a gaming mouse, as there are only six buttons, it provides an ultimate experience and could very be just as useful ofr any gamer like me that doesn't like a lot of buttons. The response time is definitely noticeable after a wireless mouse. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
