This is a nice portable magnifier. The magnified image is clear and distortion free. The light is bright and very useful in low-light situations. The case is sturdy and protects the lens well. The small case is handy for a bag or briefcase but maybe too large for a pocket.

This combination of light and magnifying does an excellent job when trying to view the insulin pump needle has been inserted. I do not need reading glasses or a flashlight to see the needle has been installed the combination of magnifying and light verifies the operation.
