best water filter jug I've owned, somehow makes the tap water taste much better, filters the water quickly, ideal size, easy to use!

I bought this pitcher with the intention of using the cheaper but great Mavea filters that I have lying around from my old pitcher that broke. This pitcher is designed to not accept the older style Mavea filters. There is a mechanism that prevents the filtered water from entering the pitcher. I was able to remove the mechanism by prying it off but it took some effort. My Mavea filters work with it now but I don't appreciate the efforts that Brita went through to stop compatibility with the older filters. Otherwise the pitcher is designed okay, as you would expect.

I absolutely fell in love with this because of the amount of water it helps. For some reason it will not close correctly and when I go to pour the water, the top keeps falling off. I literally was two days past for return of the warranty.

The cartridge leaks, and check TDS its over 130.

Large size is perfect for making a pot of coffee. My water is terrible for calcite and this takes most of it out. I do not have to worry about the coffee maker being ruined. With the price of bottled water going up the use of a Brita water filter quickly pays for itself. It is a good idea to wipe the lid down to avoid any build up of lime as the water from the tap is not filtered.Take the time to read the instruction, which are included but are in multiple languages, then take the time to make a couple of pitchers to dump before you use to drink or use to make coffee or tea.

Depuis quelques mois, j'utilise la carafe filtrante BRITA Marella XL et je suis vraiment content de ce changement. Le goût désagréable de l'eau du robinet ? Disparu ! Ma bouilloire est aussi très reconnaissante – fini le tartre ! C'est incroyable de voir la différence qu'une eau filtrée peut faire au quotidien.Je change la cartouches environ 1 fois par mois, car je l'utilise intensivement, mais cela en vaut la peine. L'eau a un goût tellement meilleur et c'est rassurant de savoir que je bois une eau plus pure. C'est un petit investissement pour une grande amélioration dans la qualité de l'eau chez moi. Si vous hésitez encore, je vous recommande vivement la carafe BRITA Marella XL. Un super achat ! 👍

All you need in a water jug. It filters the water well and makes it very soft and nice to drink. It also has a large size and it fits more water. I recommend.

J'ai acheté la xl car nous sommes 4 et je dois dire que j'ai bien fait. Très pratique et finalement on s'est libérés des bouteilles en plastique.

Ho acquistato la caraffa XL diversi mesi fa ma ho aspettato a recensirla perchè volevo testarla. Ho fatto ricerche sulla marca scoprendo che lavora nel campo del filtraggio acqua da sempre. Inoltre ho fatto analizzare a mie spese l'acqua del rubinetto prima e dopo il filtraggio. Il responso è stato che effettivamente la caraffa filtra perfettamente l'acqua rendendola molto leggera e togliendo sostanze dannose per l'organismo. Ha eliminato completamente il retrogusto di cloro che aveva l'acqua e che andava a modificare il sapore anche del cibo. Per quanto riguarda la praticità è di facile utilizzo e i filtri che durano un mese ognuno sono facilmente sostituibili. Un piccolo lcd con 4 tacche ci ricorderà quando cambiare il filtro. Unica pecca che non è imputabile in nessuna maniera al produttore è che ovviamente essendo la caraffa da 3.5l le sue dimensioni la rendono difficilmente riponibile all'interno di un normale frigorifero. Comunque consigliatissima a chi ama bere acqua leggera e insapore.

Muy contenta con la adquisición del producto. A pesar de que el sabor del agua no es el mismo que el del agua embotellada (quizás las dos primeras semanas sí, pero va ganando sabor a medida que el filtro se va gastando), hay una diferencia abismal con el agua del grifo (especialmente en zonas donde el agua del grifo es muy dura, como puede ser Barcelona y alrededores).La jarra es de un buen tamaño para no tener que rellenarla constantemente, y el filtro dura 1 mes, por lo que no hay que cambiarlo a menudo.Hace unos meses que la tengo y está como nueva: la calidad de los materiales es buena.Destacar además que hay un marcador que indica la duración del filtro, por lo que no hay que estar pendiente de agendas para saber cuando hay que cambiarlo.Genial para ahorrar espacio en garrafas/botellas, y esfuerzo a la hora de llevarlas hasta casa (viviendo en un 3ro sin ascensor, la compra de la Brita fue un completo alivio).Puntos fuertes:- Se ahorra en llevar garrafas/botellas en casa, y se evita acumularlas en la cocina- Buen sabor del agua (aunque no tan bueno como el agua embotellada a medida que se va gastando el filtro)- Marcador que indica la duración del filtro- Tamaño adecuado- Se evita el uso indiscriminado de botellas de plástico y garrafas, por lo que permite un consumo de agua responsable con el medio ambienteA mejorar:- Quizás podría mejorarse la intensidad de los filtros (que a las 3 semanas el agua tenga el mismo sabor que durante la primera semana)- Precio más económico de los filtros de recambio- Tarda un poco en filtrar el agua. Si la quieres utilizar, es mejor siempre rellenarla de antemano para no tener que esperarLa recomiendo 100%, y resulta una buena alternativa a la osmosis (especialmente si uno está de alquiler, y se quiere ahorrar lo que vale la instalación).
